I'm looking for some survival manga ( any genre) ,but preferably some obscure not any mainstream like sprite or bio-meat , parayste ,battle royale,Sucide Island,Blue Heaven ,Kamisama no Iutoori,

also leave the lame crap = high school dead , out please

Have u read Btooom!, Deadman Wonderland and Shingeki no Kyojin already?

 

How about Aphorism, Area D - Inou Ryouiki, Black Lagoon (questionable if its survival) and I am a Hero?

 

Terra Formars and Wake up Deadman also deserve a special mention.

I'm going to mention some "out of the box" survival manga as well, since you've seem to have read most major survival manga. If you want generic survival, only Ex Shounen Hyouryuu and Cradle of Monsters qualify. If you want something more diversified...

 

Ex Shounen Hyouryuu

Satoshi and a group of his friends are on a lengthy boat ride to Kijijima when the world comes to an end – literally. A huge Tsunami wave 500 meters tall overpowers the boat and he finds himself stranded on an island and alone. Meanwhile the rest of the boat has grounded after being dashed upon the shores and soon Satoshi finds them, and sets off a struggle to survive for the passengers and crew of the ship…

 

Ikigami. While this is not a survival manga in the normal sense, it's a manga that shows how people spend the last few hours of their life after being condemned to death.

 

Cradle of Monsters

A group of students finds themselves on a sinking capsized ship. Together with some zombies. What happened to the ship and why are there zombies aboard? It's a battle against time and the zombies, to save themselves.

 

Life is Money! is a Play or Die situation. Although it as well isn't a "survival manga"...

Mirai Nikki

High school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary.

Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus's successor.

Yamada is a castaway on an island without any ships passing by and he is unable to recall why he is there. After finding his sports bag, he assumes he was on a school trip. With only seven days worth of food, he eventually decides to make a boat to leave the island. He thought he was alone on the island until finding a girl named Imaise Chika eating his food. They then decide to continue carving the boat together. Since the boat only has room for one, Yamada decides to set off for help, but returns upon noticing that not only has Imaise put her share of rations in his bag, they are mostly untouched as well. After returning, he notices she made the oar out of a fishing lance and he decides they can live on the island longer.

He realizes that his murderer was his old high school friend Tanaka Masaki who was jealous of Kazuya’s relationships and his built up anger eventually exploded. Taken back 15 years into his past, it seems that he has been given a second chance at life and given a chance to make different choices. He decides that the way to prevent his eventual demise is to make sure Masaki is more successful with girls and loses his virginity before Kazuya. But fate seems to be steering Kazuya towards the path of his previous life and keeps introducing the same girls he had sexual encounters with.

 

Deadman Wonderland

Ganta Igarashi has been convicted of a crime that he hasn't committed, and sent to a new, privately owned and operated prison, where the inmates are the main attraction in a modern day twist to the gladiatorial coliseums of ancient times. Throw in a healthy dose of weird little girl, some new-found super powers, and a little conspiracy theory, and you have Deadman Wonderland.

The "prison survival action" story is set after the sudden emergence of special powers in certain pockets of humanity. To deal with these so-called "Altered," a mysterious remote island prison named "Area D" was built.

Well, I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for, but it might have some similar elements.........the webtoon Peak? Of course you might have read it too.

That one's been in my "to read later" pile for quite a while, but it's just that I haven't gotten to it yet, it came highly recommended to me and it was for just that sort of reason, all the outdoors, life and death kind of stuff (mountain climbing/survival as I remember).

speaking of which, nobody mentioned Assassination Classroom, it's kind of got survival type themes to it...........though it's shounen and pretty popular, so you probably already know about it.

And the only other thing that comes to mind is another webtoon called Afterschool War Activities, though it's scanlation has really just started..................but it's very popular on Naver, it's supposed to be quite bloody and terrifying with the whole theme being survival.
