Description: | Ichijo Kazuya thought that he was murdered, but when he came to, he was back in his high school days. He lived his entire life as a playboy and had had countless sexual encounters with women until that fateful day that he was killed. He realizes that his murderer was his old high school friend Tanaka Masaki who was jealous of Kazuya’s relationships and his built up anger eventually exploded. Taken back 15 years into his past, it seems that he has been given a second chance at life and given a chance to make different choices. He decides that the way to prevent his eventual demise is to make sure Masaki is more successful with girls and loses his virginity before Kazuya. But fate seems to be steering Kazuya towards the path of his previous life and keeps introducing the same girls he had sexual encounters with. |

It was a good, short read. I can see why some people are pissed at the ending, as they had to wait 2 years for the whole thing, while I only spent about 2 hours on this.
I really enjoyed the art style, as it easily shifted from light-hearted comedy into "I'll fucking kill you" territory.
The author also dealt with the character development, which is only for the main character, in a solid manner. Sadly, as the series was so short, it rather stumped the other characters into being some people who you could barely scratch the surface of. There was a lot of potential to develop the other members of the main cast more (as Masaki had barely anything going for him), as well as the side cast some what (what happened to the shortie-tsundere dude and the blonde chick?), but I digress as I assume the author would feel that it would stray too far from the central narrative of this work.
Personally, I just gave it a 5 star. I mean, I give that to every work that I like. Would recommend if you've got an exam coming up in a few hours.
The ending kinda ruined it for me because it left so many unanswered questions.
You shouldnt take what he says at face value, its pretty obvious Ichijo liked her from the start, even if he doesnt say so. You gotta look closer and read deeper into his expressions and what he's saying.
One question I had is that if Yoshino liked Ichijo, why didnt she go to the same university as him?
I mean she knew he was waiting for her, and their feelings were indeed mutual.
And then when they meet again she acts like she totally didnt ditch him and went on to another university.
I also wanted to see what happened between Ichijo's brother and Reiko.
pretty good
For the most part, I really like this one. I think it could have done a few things better, especially that ending, but it's still a great read in my opinion
don't read this comment, in case you are "allergic" to criticism (towards a story you like) ^^.
If I were to summerize the whole thing it would look like that: "eavesdropping in a lot of chapters + a dense MC = plenty of unnecessary misunderstandings and artficially formed story development". The mangaka really tried hard to make the story develop in the direction he wanted to, reaching a point where it feels forced (if you ask me). I'm not sure I only got this impression 'cause the manga was axed, I'd rather say that the forced developement actually is the reason it was axed (it felt forced from the beginning to me).
Though the plot idea was interesting, it's the execution I didn't like. This read was ok, there are more than enough mangas out there which are worse.
Really enjoyed this one, glad I didn't read any of the comments before I read it because there are tons of spoilers down there. Would definitely recommend/read again one day.
Definitely worth a read. Much more interesting, varied, and mature than the vast majority of manga you see out there. Highly recommended.
After reading the previous comments, I almost didn't read this. Luckily I took the time to read it. It was rather well done and an enjoyable read. There are many places where more details could be injected to lengthen the story, say for an anime, but it really didn't seem all that rushed. Even the ending worked. It was a nice quick jolt of adrenaline to get your mind going "Oh no, did everything he did, or didn't do, fail at changing anything?". The knife buried into his chest was a masterful tool to direct the reader towards the bad ending. Again, a good read if you like thinking about time paradoxes.
Can't say I'm satisfied with the ending, but the premise itself wasn't all that good to begin with.
I guess people didn't like it? I thought it was pretty great, although, I feel like the author was rushed to finish it by the end.
Overall good enough and short enough to read without too much headwall banging, but oh boy, on the same page plot were pretty stupid. No facking way 32 year adult and asshole to the boot would behave like this.
Anyway, art were good, i like idea of adult protagonist in less mature environment and manga have only four volumes, so you can read it in one go, so lets say that overall it not so bad. Just do not try to seriously think about plot twists.
That´s it? That´s it? That´s how it ended? The only reason I finished this ****** melodrama was to see if there was a good payoff at the end. But this was it? The ****?
I´m so sorry, but this is the one of the ********* work I´ve read in a long while that I acutally bothered to finish, a bad manga to start the new year with.
I will say this though, thank you Prozess and VisTrans for the scans and translation. I didn´t enjoy this manga, but I´m sure there´re people out there that do.
I think that they are gonna be together. He is single and she the same.
It must suck to still think of the guy you hate the most as your best friend.
Not a perfect manga by an inch and a mile, but it is a manga that is interesting and fun to read in a genre that often precludes all of those things.
so... Who was the stalker? It was the same guy both times I think..
well...all in all. I just dislike how MC remained a dumbass (in a way)
Not even a confirmation of their relationship? Really now, even that asshat of friend got his good ending.
From what I heard, the manga actually was axed. It was probably going to go on longer, but wasn't that popular in Japan.
The summary is quite misleading.
Anyway, good story
I wonder if the spoilers I read earlier or the depressing tone of the build up was what ordered the axe and hence the mangaka had to shoot for a quick conclusive ending instead.
