[W5/D2/1:30 PM]The gears of time continue to spin.
The chatting was a nice and joyous. Smilies and small talks are here and there; it was a great way to start the day. Ever since that malicious fog covered over the city, everyone was gloomy here and there. Seeing the sun come back to bathe the streets in light made everyone much more happier. Of course the fog will lift sooner or later, but for some reason, Geo felt it was just strange. While talking, he was reflecting with himself and it was not going well with his health. Overall, the chatting was a way to stop himself from thinking and as a distraction from his paranoia.
it was surprising how the chat merely lasted an hour, and it was great nonetheless. The smiles though, would become to fade when Flash asked this question:
"Why can't life always be this easy?"
The atmosphere changed greatly. An interesting and serious topic was back at hand once again. Perhaps that within Geo's mind he knew that you cannot live your whole life in ignorance. Reality was back once again between the party.
"Easy... huh?" Geo said as he looked at the window. "Life doesn't want anyone to live in ignorance."
The very happy smile of Anna faded away; she looked at the window, as if she was trying to reflect on herself.
"Everyone has their own trials, their own faults, and their own strengths." Geo said as he continued his thought, "Sometimes, the world favours with your faults and makes you live with it until the end. It's unfair, but there must be a reward for bearing through it with all your strength. We must preserve ourselves and endure what the world throws at us. You know, we are meant to live in finite amount of time; the sands of time will eventually run out for any of us. Let's just enjoy ourselves and remember that times like these really matter. It is those times where we are happy and smiling. Life isn't easy, because we wouldn't be able to appreciate these good times."
He looked back at the table and gave a smile to Flash and Anna.
"Well, that's enough of that subject, no?"
He then stirred his empty cup of coffee and stared blankly for some odd reason that even he doesn't know why. His train of thought continued to drive him crazy a little inside. His chest was feeling odd, and it was not good to be living with.
"Anyways..." Anna quietly said, in attempt to break the tension. "Why don't we finish up and take a walk? We should get a little bit of fresh air."
