#1179268 TOG's quality slipping threads' quality slipping

Posted by rak n' roll on 28 March 2014 - 04:30 PM

Posters with 3 posts griping about the good old days?

GodofLOL mockingly calling Random Webtoon Fan a bird?

Lester rising to take Svine's bait before fishing season even opens?

Someone wrongly claiming that a meme is being used wrongly?

Kittens?

KITTENS?!?

Now see here.  Back when I first started posting, b*tchfests were real b*tchfests.  And they were good.

We complained about the day's big important matters like whether there were too many different versions of TOG uploaded here in Spanish.  Not petty little stuff like why a comic artist who's needed surgery for the better part of a year on his drawing hand might be seeing a drop-off in quality and quantity of his product.  Tarnation!

Is this the extent to which this place has become?

So yeah.  All you whiny brats better get.off.my.lawn.*

*Just expressing my opinion, so...you know...no back-sies!

#1167746 New comic, please, for one who loves ToG

not really ToG like but:

kingdom

ravages of time

ares

bokko

besides those, are there any war Mangas out there that is as good as Kingdom , i would have loved Ravages of time if there wasn't too much characters which confused the hell out of me and i read Ares which was good  and also Bokko (i judged book by its cover) but i will read it  ^_^

@Alraisen , i would recommend you  ''D.i.c.e'' , it is so good.

Lol, guys. Take it easy.   :batoto_008:

1. When you are with other people, it's like a RPG with turns. Let others react.

2. Put only your intent, not your specific actions, if it includes another player. You can say whatever a NPC does or what happens to him, but not to a player. (One very good example would be fay's first post in the RP, "If Ruui's attack landed, he would be able to break his opponent's focus enough to then proceed to sweep his feet off the ground. Once he landed on ....")

3. If you want to include another player, ask for permission first. You can also create awesome battles by communication, as DR said before, let us talk first here or in a PM.

4. Be a sport and let it be without bias as possible. Take the situation and let it fair for others. If there's something unclear, or a disagreement, then discuss here first and arrive at a conclusion. If both side are still stubborn, then there's the GM to decide the result.

5. Most importantly, make it fun for everybody. :D (Smoke weed gaishzz...) Only a metaphor or something, don't do it IRL. xD

This is my understanding of the basic rules of RPing according to what I have read, and also the tons of questions I asked DR. By far, I haven't been scolded yet by the GM, so I guess what the rules are right.

So let us follow try and abide by these guidelines to provide less headache for our beloved GM, as maintaining order in a virtual world created by 10 imaginative minds is a very hard thing to do.

P.S. Can the RP veterans expand/edit/add to the above guidelines? I'm only a newbie so I'm very sure that there is something lacking/wrong there.  ^_^

And here I was thinking that I'd be accused of really going to DR and murdering him in his sleep.

I like the idea of freedom with attributes. Be as creative as you like with them, and I'll just judge costs fairly. (Or unfairly, if it makes things more interesting, since that's what X likes >=D )

I'll list a few basic attributes for fighting, probably only three: Strength, Endurance, and Agility. That way people can have plenty of dice to spend on funner things, like amplified hearing, macroscopic vision, the works. Superhuman abilities will have to be put on hold however, until the webtoon explains how they're used.

As for attribute sheets, I'll take care of them myself. When I was looking at the numbers, it's difficult for me to tell exactly what 100 dice in strength do compared to 50 dice in endurance, so I think I'll use words and colors in addition to numbers in sheets to better show a character's strengths.

It's great that a few people are interested, but it amounts to nothing if you don't put up a character sheet. I'll be starting as soon as I've approved two sheets, so make your character quick and get a head start on collecting dice! =) I added a brief note about the setting and what kind of characters I expect, feel free to read it before you start your character sheet,
