Only manga site I actually like so far, you'll be missed. Hope you have lots of comfy days reading manga or whatever else you fancy.

I wouldn't let this bother me. A series getting removed from here just means I read it on another site that doesn't bow before corporate capitalists so easily.

scanlation is a powerful way to get your name known around the world. As good as they are, webtoons and manwhas arent up to par with mangas yet. Good luck in having your work recognized outside your backyard.

I just took a look at their website... my lord, it's worse than scanlation quality. You have to hit Control-Minus a few times to shrink the pages to a size they aren't bloated at. And even then, the dialogue is incredibly Engrishy, like playing some terribly localized MMO...

As usual, they have the reputable site remove them, which just leaves them on all the Chinese aggregators that don't give a fuck. And as you said, many of them aren't even on that site. So either interest in Naver stuff goes down the tubes now, as scanlators won't introduce people to new titles anymore, (And Naver will only put what they feel are the most popular on that site) or it goes to sites that line the pockets of NOEZ. gg

So that means no more Dice and ToG?

Well there goes a huge portion of translated manhwa down the drain. Have a feeling it will be months or even years before seeing not very well known ones to be put up on that site. Even more so for completed titles.

bit late to the topic, but I was going to suggest VSonic IEMs, found them to work well on all kinds of music at a decent price while giving you so...sooo many eartips.

To make you feel better about your purchase, reviews vary wildly with headphones and IEMs because people are very subjective about what they want to hear in their music. In addition, people can get used to the sound of different headphones pretty quickly, so something that sounded very harsh in your ears at first might mellow out over time (this is generally attributed to the "burn-in" effect, but it's still widely debated whether that's the sole factor) or some headphones that sounded good to you before sound like utter crap later. There's also differences in environment; even if you get the best headphones in the world, it'll still sound significantly better in a quiet room with no distractions vs maybe a crowded bus with loud engines and traffic. Even reviews where the reviewer seems to have taken a lot of time and effort to "objectively" evaluate a set isn't completely concrete, as their standards in sound aren't the same as yours (perhaps you both like rock, but this guy likes hearing the vocals more than the instrumental detail).

the best you can do, as with most products you're buying blind (without actually trying them out first), is to check the average reception for the product on a trusted site or stick with a reviewer who's usually been on the mark with your tastes and standards. seems like you've done that so you should be fine.

I actually used it for my game review of the original Koihime Musou. When I started the project, I realized it would be a great chance to use that picture again. It's one of the cutest things in the game!
