I don´t think those are 3 Kuns. Actually, I would say that the first one is Kun, the second one is a good looking Rachel and the 3rd one is old Baam. And it does look it´s Quant at the bottom.

Well, thats what I would wish. So it´s Hachuling, Agüero and Ran.

Actually those are the three Kuns, from Top to bottom: Hachuling, Aguero, Ran. On the bottom you can see Qunt being angry as he always has problems with people of the family. It is also interesting to note the way they are positioned. Potentially it could mean nothing, but still Hachuling is head above the other two, whereas Aguero is slightly above Ran.

I think it's alright, but the tattoo would probably look better if it wasn't scaled down. The guy has a big back, he could have easily done 1:1 scale. Shading it in black is an interesting touch, but not one I personally would have done (just my preference). I think he was smart to take out the Mazino text. I like it but he took out parts from the original that I actually liked. Like the trunk is a spinal chord, and not all of the wings are curved.

You have to take into account that some tattoo artists will charge by the time. (generally its 100-150 bucks per hour) so a bigger tattoo spanning across his entire back would have most likely been very expensive.

I understand that, but I prioritize the fact that it's pretty much a permanent feature added to your body. If someone decides to get a tattoo, they may as well get one that looks incredible and has no short comings as a result of being constrained by money. If money is a problem, I don't believe in compromising by reducing the size and altering it into a homage. I just wouldn't get the tattoo until I saved up. Or would get it in multiple steps, as most professional tattoo artists do large tattoos in multiple sessions. Get the wing tree outline, then the symbols, then the more intricate details of the overall tattoo. Or something like that.
