Oh that's awful, I'm sorry. D': I hope it reincarnates soon.

Well, the previous two counts were interrupted by Daktyl.

32 i feel like it's cheating for one person to just suddenly post several numbers in a row......

But good luck in Cali. I'm on the East Coast, and we sometimes get an orange sun.... from all the smoke....

Autumn, I hope, and not a cold. o.o

Ouch x.x; I'm so sorry.

I mean, in the abstract it's theoretically rather to make it nicer to live in California that we have the smog checks (so as not to have the Los Angeles smog of old, which I've heard a number of people reminiscing about as of late with the smoke in the air everywhere).

But all of that isn't very terribly comforting when one's own smog check fails.

"Smog check" refers to the CA law requiring people to get the emissions from their car checked periodically. Not the smoke that has been our constant companion for, oh, the past month now. XD

Hopefully we'll figure it out as we go along (and as the climate slowly gets hotter) and it won't always be this bad.

Regarding a single person posting multiple times: If you make two posts too close together in time, Batoto's forum code will actually merge them. So it probably wasn't necessary at the original pace of the game to have such a rule.

Though honestly I can't remember Batoto's fundamental policy on double-posting. It's not like I'd have done so back in the day. And nowadays things are more sort of an anarchic post-apocalyptic wasteland so the rules are de-facto a bit flexible. I myself should be perfectly happy to avoid double-counts as long as anyone who's around cares, though.

Also, the vatoto ddos protection is such a hassle. I understand the need for it, but still. I actually have to concentrate to pass it because some of the images..... Well let's just say that I have no clue if I'm looking at the side of a car or the body of a motorcycle.

Yeah the ddos protection got a bit over-zealous some time after the fall, I think in the past year/half-year. One learns to cope, but occasionally one wants to strangle it.

I am actually quite excited for Cyberpunk 2077. I have no particular feelings for or against shooters but, even if the tone might be a bit seedy for my tastes, story-based games are very much my thing, and there's no way I'm going to miss a sprawling story sandbox epic, CD Projeckt Red's track record is good, and I have to admit I like the eponymous aesthetic...

Basically yeah.

sigh... god why even own property poki, if we can't hire humans to be property manager then we should have robots to stand in line in DMV for us

I mean for half the stuff we used to have to go to the DMV for we now do have "robots" stand in line for us, and a further half of the remainder surely could use the same treatment (that is to say, all handled by computers online).

Also how strange it would be to live in a world where the DMV was not a symbol of inefficient bureaucracy? Not that I would complain.

I haven't gotten it done—my driver's license had to be renewed like a month or two before they became available, so...

I was planning to renew my passport instead for airplane-usage purposes... That expires this year; I haven't really done anything about it because, well, travel where?

Vermont. Bernie is a socialist, he only puts on the democratic hat when he wants to try for president. And he's only from Vermont. He definitely left it for his political career and returned when he was old.

42 i will count for u bro :3

the world is changing, and this corona work from home will speed things up even more as people work more from home... i hope it can even out things a bit, so every state should be considered a flip state

i have a cousin here who has threatened to vote republican just to send the democrats here a message lol.... i told her good luck

imo the means of production is pretty much a good indicator of how socialist one is- if you're in manufacturing and require large scale group cooperation you tend to be more socialist

43 so i ended up paying a guy 400 bucks for labor, and about 750ish for the actual item (pre-tax) The hardest part was actually getting the exhuast pipe to fit directly over the exhaust system. That was actually the longest time it took, getting the thing to twist and turn into the appropriate angle. But it's 12 years parts so eh, should be worth it I guess
