Spoiler
Name: Lindo Maxie
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Description: 6'3" 210lbs of pure awesome. That's how Drexal would describe his son anyway. Lindo has hazel with a red tint to them. You can clearly see his eyes and they seems to look as if they were on fire. His facial expression is usually one of a slight scowl. He seems very non-inviting but the reality is the opposite.
Personality: Lindo Maxie is the son of Drexal Maxie and Sasuki Masamune (two of my favorite characters whom in secretly wrote a love short with). In turn, he has the physical capabilities of his father but the mind and attitude of his mother. He likes order and stability. Those who do not fall in line will usually hear about it, in the coldest manner you will ever hear.
Lindo sees himself as someone who is above trash and Fodder. Trash are those who don't follow their dreams and envy others success. He usually speaks as though he is a king and that is directly from his mother's persona. He isn't a bad guy though, just someone who may rub you the wrong way.
History:
Lindo was raised by his mother, Satsuki. His father, Drexal, left the family when Lindo was at the age of 5. The reasons are unknown but the Order called and Drexal heeded the call. This left Lindo with many questions, to which his mother simply could not answer. She was unable to. The answer was a mystery to her as well. With Drexal gone, it was just Satsuki and Lindo to fend for themselves. Luckily, Satsuki is more than enough to be mother and father to Lindo. Almost the spitting image of his father, Satsuki knew her boy had the genes of a great warrior, herself being a military veteran who climbed to the ranks to become a well respected figure. She retired when she became pregnant and left the military life alone to raise Lindo.
With her husband gone to take care of business with the Order of Assassins, Satsuki decided to train her son in the way of the sword. Everyday, the teachings of Bushido wee drilled into his very being and the way of he sword, into his soul. From the basics to advanced techniques as the years went on. Lindo loved the sword and took to heart every lesson he could imagine.
Lindo admired his mother and and how strong she was emotionally, physically, and mentally. She taught him order and discipline. She was hard on Lindo, always on his butt about everything he did. It was like she was grooming him to be someone who commanded respect. Everything he did, every chore he performed, every sword swing, every lesson he was taught meant something. It was this that made him aspire to joining the Azuria Military as she did.
Once Lindo was old enough, he enrolled into the Azuria Military. He did not mention his mother's name as he did not want any preferential treatment because of it. His last name actually painted a bad picture due to his father's reputation. During basic training, which he excelled, he would conveniently end up having to become the person who was demonstrated on. Combat, Lindo took the bumps. Obstacle course, he went first to show the hazards he wasn't informed of. He knew he was being singled out, he wasn't dumb by any means. He just took his lumps because he knew making a scene would be just what they wanted. This is how the relationship Amelia Garnet began.
Amelia, who was an officer at the time, recognized how Lindo was being treated. She didn't know why at the time either but she didn't care. She only wanted to see him beat the people who were giving Lindo "special" treatment. Her words, "Just show them who you are, show them how far above you really are, and stop holding back." Rang loudly in his ears. The words were not something that didn't cross Lindo's mind. In fact, he frequently thought about it but worried about repercussions and disappointing his mother. However, for someone to notice how he was holding back kind of impressed him. Sure enough, during hand to hand combat training, he was supposed to be the guinea-pig to learn some sword skills. Yeah, right, like those guys could teach him anything his mother didn't show him. That lesson turned into one that caused the instructor to become the student. A fierce series of attacks that places the lieutenant on the defensive and unable to escape the pressure of Lindo's series of attacks. Unable to defend himself, the Lieutenant was forced to the ground, staring back up into Lindo's eyes. The man could feel the indomitable pressure from the cadet's eyes and, even though the sword was fake, he felt as if his life was in danger. Fear overcame him. Lindo, looking down on this man, simply said, "Resign your blade." When another higher up walked in, he saw the cadets in a fit of disorderly laughter and an angrily, embarrassed instructor. Lindo did get reprimanded. However the special hazing ceased. Amelia seems proud enough of him and they sort of became friends after that. He learned to let loose and freely be who he was, a dominating figure who commands respect.
Years later, that very same Amelia became the commander of Aquamarine. Since she was able to pick her crew, Lindo joined her as well as a few others form their basic training team like the ever enigmatic Annavea who Lindo rather enjoyed for her spontaneity, and Chris. At the time, Lindo was second Lieutenant with Annavea being third and another person, whom Lindo did not favor, was first lieutenant. They took many missions and completed them without fail. The young crew was one of prodigies, it seemed. They garnered much respect but there were those who did not find favor with the commander's lineage. Since she was front and center, Amelia was the target of their ire.
The group of people made their move, allowing someone from the inside to frame Amelia for a crime she did not commit. The crew was thorough and always did everything right. They were tight knit and were very wary of new comers. In fact, it was that tight knit group that caused something like this to happens. All I will say on the issue is that The crew of he Aquamarine lost their leader and the officers chose to leave with her. Except for the first Lieutenant who decided to stay which made Lindo happy on the insidez
With the the former first Lieutenant no longer with them, Amelia asked Lindo to come with her and take the position. He accepted of course as the could not stomach taking orders from spineless people who act out of jealousy. So the Dagger was his new home, he set out to take care of work as merc, free from the confines of military eyes and able to move freely.
