Gods. I only did one Kubera Chapter and am already best German there XD

 

The typesetting there sucks.

You can't make multiple styles in one line,

you can't add new lines (text fields),

you can't regulate opacity,

you can't make a glow,

if you make the text with an outline, the outline eats away from your text

sometimes the italic-function doesnt work

some text fields are set right in the translation tool, but off in the actual version

you have like 10 fonts (most shitty and almost the same and definitely not the ones you need for kubera)

you can't regulate the space between two text lines

Yeouch. That sounds absolutely annoying to any perfectionist (or anyone who wants to do a good job). Are we sure they want translators and proofreaders of any quality?

Well, the problem might simply be that they don't... know what quality is. Then again, it's a beta right? Hopefully they'll improve it for the official version.

Yes the typesetting options are ugh. I've been doing "translating" from english to english, and I can't even access the same font they used for the official translations. >~<

 

Definitely do provide feedback of this, that's the main point of a beta test anyway.

Interesting how Gandharva's comment, "And only Atera, Eloth, and Rindhallow are left now" doesn't get fully explained until Chapter 2-117 where we learn those are the locations of the final Kuberas (well, one of them has been moving around since then)...

actually, i think that there was another kubera in atera other than leez. There were 2 dots near atera in N11, and since then the suras destroyed all those near kalibloom rindhallow and eloth. But maruna attacked only one of the 2 villages near atera. So probably the other one went to atera seeking protection. This is why god kubera sent sagara and co to attack atera despite knowing well that leez was not there anymore. They failed, and it seems that some name hunter killed him or her offscreen. Maybe the one who threatened brilith?

This chapter translation wasn't too bad. The knights rather than fighters was a little jarring, but it isn't much of an issue for me at least.

I think the Knights thing is actually TC's fault, they translated it that way in some places in their earlier chapters. xD

I remember the early translations using both warriors and mercenaries. Did they use knights, too? I wasn't too crazy about Fighters, but at least they stayed consistent after settling on that.

Yup, they called Enan (the first owner of the Golden Knight) a knight. In the Korean version, it's Fighter too.

Basically, it seems the same term more or less describes fighter/warrior/knight.

or currygom accidently fused some layers and they have to clean. lol
