The question is whether that nuclear fire is from missiles made by man or from the sun
Considering all life is born from solar power it seems right that all life eventually return to the sun

Or would you prefer another ice age?

Granted, but your newfound love for fuzzy animals and pets gets unpleasant when a stray dog gives you rabies. Luckily, rabies is one of those few weird diseases that you can vaccinate post-facto, so long as you don't wait until you're already in the final stages. Not sure how that works, I think just because it progresses really slowly.
