Chapter 66 is unfair to the other characters who died. Kurome and Wave deserves a gruesome death.

One of the things I think is really good about this story is that is doesn't pander or drag it's ass. It tells it's story in a succinct yet satisfying way. What I also like is the lack of plot armor for all the characters involved. No one is safe. Any one of them could go at any time. It just feels more realistic that way when a character you thought was safe can suddenly just die because they get blindsided. Except Esdeath. Fuck her. She's way too stupidly overpowered for this series. I nearly threw my computer out the window when she stopped time.

That is an extreme comparison there, i agree with you on that, though. DBZ was so excessive with it that it killed the fun of long battles for most people. I know they did it in order to avoid creating even more fillers, but...
3 episodes is the maximum, i believe a 2 episode battle would be perfect to entertain most people, battles are far too quick nowadays, it's killing all the tension of the fights, like the enemy is not strong enough or something like that.

Akame and Kurome were always going to have this one-on-one fight. What was most interesting from ch64 is that the title likely refers to Akame killing Tatsumi in the end.

I'm not surprised if Tatsumi dies in the final chapter. But I like how he's right now. Totally badass!

I wouldn't want AGK to pull a DBZ with the long battles that takes multiple episodes (especially since it's a monthly series). I'm satisfied with the current pace
Assassins aren't supposed to be the flashiest fighters. If they can kill their targets quickly, they will do so. Why draw out the fight, especially since one cut from Murasame means instant death? If you're bored with this, drop it and go read something else. Nobody cares about whether you're dropping it or not, we all have our own lives to care about.
So go on and leave already. Quit making a scene.
*siigh* Everything happens too quick, and Akame's "BATTLE" is just her one-upping her foe in a speed of light. Getting bored with this, hopefully Tatsumi vs Wave battles happens ASAP, but with the nature of the manga, it'll be a joke one of course. Maybe it's Akame who will upping Wave again..
