okay, I've noticed that some of the people here ... don't understand the 5-7-5 part of haiku, and it's just sliiiiightly annoying.

Others need to check if they're writing the first, second or third line but haven't

Also, ambiguity doesn't help, eg. 

The deafening sounds of laughter

That could be either 7 or 8 syllables, depending on whether you pronounce it as "deaf-e-ning" or "deaf-ning"

but this is just me nagging you all D:
