I was planning on reading all of Santa by silyeong (which I've been putting off for years) but there's not enough time left so now I'm going through the pages one by one and saving them for later. Like a scraper bot except a human, haha.

I was able to code this very quickly as there is a lot of overlap with AniDex.

All the essential functions are now complete. Improvements to the site will be coming in the days ahead, as I get more user feedback.

I've been on this site for several years, mostly commenting in the actual comic/manga sections. This will be my 60th post so it seems like a good number to end on. I only made this to get to 60.

Not much to say, been reading manga for about 20 years now, and bato.to has been my main reader for the last 5 or so. I've commented with many of you fine folk. Thanks for everything bato.to staff and fellow manga readers.

There is another Manga Site that looks like it could be something special like Batoto was for all of us.

Tetrasky in another forum post said this and we need to draw more attention to it!

Go to that website and talk to all the scanlators that you know, we can keep on going, just on a different site if needed. Something similar happened to a different site that I frequented (though YoManga was muddled in a pit of controversy to go with it) and they managed to migrate and stay strong despite losing the initial site. 

WE CAN DO THE SAME!!! DON'T GIVE UP, JUST GET UP!

Here's hoping https://mangadex.com will be able to attract scanlators and increase their repertoire. It seems to be starting nicely so far.

At the moment the only way for users to easily find group releases is mangaupdates.

For legal reasons mangaupdates removed all links to scanlator sites but there is a tampermonkey script that restores them https://github.com/loadletter/mangaupdates-urlfix

Anyone can update a site with that script by clicking "Suggest an update" ( details at bottom of page https://github.com/loadletter/mangaupdates-urlfix)

You can set up a free web site with wordpress, blogspot or even simple text with ghostbin

There are many entries from small groups, usually single person, that list batoto as their site. Please update so users can easily find your scans.

As the official "Blamee" in my own family for everything that goes wrong or gets broken, I am willing to take the blame for Batoto being shut down.

Grumpy mentioned to me how tired he was and I tried to give him an energizing injection of "Dr. Pervy's Magic Root Juice."

For some strange reason, he started screaming in shock and fear and not only said he was shutting this site down...

...but he also called the cops on me and accused me of bestiality after showing the cops his avatar of a displeased cat!

To the very best of my knowledge Batoto is the one and only scanlator-centric manga hosting aggregation site.
