"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
- Its a old proverb,,,, but it is also said in Samurai Deeper Kyo.
(I have always like this one. I usually won't use negative quotes, but this is one of the exceptions.)

I wondered about if there are rules like if it has to be one that is released on Batoto. Also if it has to be a ongoing one.

Here are 4 of my favorites... assuming that there is no such rules (if there is I will erase the ones I put here and put different ones since I have many favorites). I will add other ones some other time but I have a lot of favorites and hardly any were mentioned here.

#508713 How was your day/week?

Posted by casandra29 on 22 January 2013 - 06:30 AM

I feel like something is sucking the life force out of me constantly. Got lots of meetings to go to this week and next >_<

I know the feeling. Well I know what I am about to say sounds like BS now looking on toward your hectic week but at least at the end you will get that feeling of accomplishment you only get when you go above and beyond the average.
I hope things go better for you soon.

#507718 One poem a day keeps the trouble away! (..Or not!)

That should be one of those types of poems that should be done in pages that turns out not how you expect when you turn the page. That was cool.

I am sure you are good at making other things though. She may have started just like you. Almost nobody is good at doing things from the jump. If you really want to get better ignore your mom and keep helping. If it is worth it to you... but it sounds like you might have just wanted to try doing it just for the sake of trying.

My day is going decent today. I smoke too much and woke up with a out of this world cough... uh... I guess 20 years of smoking is starting to catch up with me... I started when I was 10... by the way not a good idea. I just recently tried to switch to E-Cigarettes and I am smoking less regular ones now but... i wonder if it will matter anymore... oh well it wont hurt at any rate plus I can smoke in my house then and not have to freeze outside because of second hand smoke worries for the kids. Monday there is no school for the kids since it is M.L.K day. So the kids will be happy cause it's a 3 day weekend. It is my grandpa's 92nd birthday tomorrow I am sending him a e-card cause he moved to Arizona to get out of the Wisconsin cold. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it to at least 100. He stopped playing tennis 2 years ago but he still goes out to play golf. He is in excellent shape for that age. His wife is in even better shape though she has to be about 8 years younger (my grandma and him got a divorce after having 4 kids they had nothing else in common, at least that was what I was told when I was young), My grandma died when I was in middle school she lived alone with her dog until about a month before she died. When she was dying my grandpa came and spent her last month with her... for whatever reason that is and his wife allowed it. I guess she must have really loved him cause she never was with another man after their divorce 25 years earlier. Supposedly he married his current wife less than 6 months after the divorce too... but although i dislike the way it seems like things went down. I like his wife. She always was nice to me and fun to talk to. Anyways, he is 92 tomorrow so I am sending a card.
This week I got to go do a talk for work at a TV station. I always get picked for these assignments because I have done them before and I have experience with what my agency wants people to know. However, it is nerve racking every time for me. I have a hard time talking in front of people. I am never prepared enough. I am also a introvert when I am not online. So it is difficult. But In a sense I like to do it to get the word out there for people who may be in need of the services our agency provides. So that is my day and coming week in a nutshell.

#505933 How was your day/week?

I had a stressful week. But It got better yesterday and I am hoping it is a upward trend. My kids were sick at the beginning of the week and my younger one had some issues in school (not super bad but bad enough he was refusing to do his work). I am a single parent so when my kids get sick not only is it stressful because of the simple fact that they are sick but there are repercussions too like not getting to work and helping them in the middle of the night.
But they are better now. My older one only had a bad cold but my younger one went from having a cold to a bad fever. So being a parent I was partly stressed because I was worried about them. Also It was difficult for both boys to get good sleep this week and the night time is my free time. I treasure it. So It was stressful in that sense as well.

#504183 A poem first try in a couple years.

Posted by casandra29 on 18 January 2013 - 11:26 AM

I wrote this poem about a month ago. It's not all that great and it's the first one I have done in a while. To warn you its kinda elementary but it is also kinda dark too. So keep that in mind before you read it. I used to be better at writing poems. Now I mostly write short stories. However, Ill just share the poem anyways. It has no name.
