As for Shinji, he's not designed to be your everyday shounen MC (Like naruto, luffy ,gon , etc) Shinji is a coward and definitely not the brightest kid around. But I think that's what makes him more human. I can relate to Shinji so bad. Shinji wont sacrifice himself for the good of humanity. it's not like the humanity has done him any good deeds anyway. The only one that is genuinely nice to him is Kaworu and he's not human either. And there's Asuka , her tsun tsun attitude only make Shinji's anti social personality worse. Like , shinji doesnt have any self confidence as it is , the least thing he needs is someone that keep calling him "baka Shinji" every single damn time.

For me ,it slowly degrading..
It's just my personal preference though, since I dont really like those .. anime aimed for male otaku.. which has more fan service than any real plot. Or maybe it HAS a plot , but the fan service ruined it.
Seeing panty shots , booby boing2 , and sudden kiss or sudden boob grabbing is so.. lame.

When KHR was about to end, I stopped when Tsuna about to confess to Kyoko or something. Somehow I got the feeling that the ending gonna suck..terribly..

So.. yeah.. For me KHR have different ending in my mind. lol

that seems to be a problem with most yaoi. they manage to skip this whole natural start of a relationship, and the "rape him till he loves you" logic is far too predominant in the genre. so i tend to prefer stories about the start of a relationship, or if i read it for the sex, somewhere in the middle/continuation of a relationship. but the horrible art some times ruins the whole manga for me, only the sweetest stories can survive some of the worst drawing styles
