If you want to know what the text in the KuCa is, there is a trick to copying the text:
1. Use Google Chrome
2. Be Really fast.

The trick is to click and hold down the mouse over an area of text while the screen is still blank and loading. That somehow allows you to bypass whatever blocking mechanism against copying is in place. Then you just page-down to select the rest of the text. You have to be fast, and it may take a few tries.

I forgot if disabling javascript works on the KuCa or not.

If it somehow Still doesn't work, you can try to type it out manually:

Most of the comments won't make sense when put through Google Translate, because casual comments are not as strict on the spelling and grammar as official text. So don't ask me either, it's all gibberish to me too.

How to Get a Personacon.

Okay, so I've been wanting these for a while myself and I've only been able to figure out recently how to do it. Here's the guide:

What is a personacon? It's those sparkly pictures/animated gifs you see in front of usernames when people post or comment. Let's use dear LyuMir as an example, because she's been so helpful to us and it'd be a pity for her to stop now:



So that's a Personacon, and to get one you must first click it. Any personacon of any person will do. After clicking, you'll be redirected to this page:



I have Google Translate on but if you don't, the names will all appear in Korean. You can use this picture as reference. Basically, now you can browse and select one that you like. I'm going to click on the Objects page.



So I want to select a toilet paper image. I will then click on the toilet paper image, which will bring me here:



So you see those four images with the checkboxes beside them? When you first arrive, they will all be checked. If you don't want all of them, uncheck the ones that you don't want and click that button, which will give you this popup:



Click that, and you'll be brought here:



And now you are free to choose what you want. Please note that the personacon will appear from hence on. The posts and comments that you have already made will remain as they are.

I just signed up! It was still really tricky. At some point, during the middle, I gave up and ate some ice cream instead... hahaha but eventually, i did it! Thank you for these great instructions! I never could've done it without this post! ^^;;;

But I still can't access the any of the fanart... I guess I have to wait? or do I have to submit more posts? O.O (gah!)

If you've made the introduction post already (the one where you say what your favorite character is etc), then all you have to do is for them to validate it. This may take a day or two at most, so don't panic yet. From my observations, this is the biggest moment of panic since you've already done everything you can and don't know what else you can do.

If you haven't made the introduction post, follow the instructions to do so.

Well, did they actually say if someone broke the rules? It Could be me instead...

I actually broke the rule about friendliness at the very beginning. They let it slide because I was a newbie and the first foreigner there and the rules weren't available in English yet etc. etc. >.>;;

I've tried to be careful since though. D: I've commented on fiveseconds' posts and everything, but I've also commented on non-foreigner posts, so it's not like I'm doing preferential treatment or anything.

It Could be that they made that post because more foreigners have been signing up since I've made this thread, hahah... It's also possible that people from this forum are talking to each other there so are close to breaking the friendliness rule.

I'm going to modify the first post a bit...

I think they just did it so that we wouldn't have an excuse for breaking rules. I've broken the 70 character rule many times.

The 70 words rules is for new threads you make, not for replies. And if your thread centers on a fanart or photo, you don't need to write 70 words.

I mean, I'm pretty sure your threads either had fanarts in them, or were fanfic threads. Fanfic threads with weeeelllll over 70 words.

Hmm, as far as I know, they never contact you again after giving you the registration number. I suppose for that particular text you'd get charged 25 cents, if I'm not mistaken.
