The plot doesn't have a map as far as we know xD that's why we used that map :( :(
Maybe something like a Victorian/Edwardian London map...

xD It is a good map! You'd have to find a spot for everyone to be at though, like mine.
Travel points was a good idea >< Makes the game less messy and for the players to move around with a time frame or something.

Let's say to move in from one location to another, three posts to get there.
And something like connect the dots to help with the routes.

what about one post per round?
so you can't post until everyone else has posted too. but with a limit of 24 hours, so if someone didn't post within that time limit, the next round can still start

and then since we're so many, maybe we should make those rounds involving only the people at the same location. so you state your location and interact with the people there, and if you move to another location you'll have to take care to follow their rounds and not those where you came from. if you understand what i mean

besides if alice or white rabbit stops for a timestep
the other may catch him or her

and that alternate path may change the chaser

Don't forget, we have multiple White Rabbits and only one Alice. But Alice has advantages - a whole team with almost everyone with Kill Instruments and Mad Hatter who can kill everyone/anyone attacking Alice.

I'd prefer it if we have a definite map with bridges in between locations so people can go to and fro and not be fixed to a certain route.

I agree

this is why we need to define locations first
if we do this preparing map will be easier
and i can use good graphics on new map
and we can put routes on the roads and hidden passages

this way it'll be really a game which is very exciting
and everystep we can put some tasks to be completed for most places this way
it'll be much more enjoyable and until that tasks didn't completed

they may not able to move next step

all of these are just ideas

please share your ideas in here or you can start a pm conferance for this

i was thinking along the same lines, but then i though, what if everybody is on and can post twice within that time limit?
it wouldn't make any difference really if everybody has to wait until everyone else has posted before the next action. and in the case that someone is not there, the 24 hour rule applies
of course, with so many people playing, it might be easier to just use that 24 hour rule. so we don't get confused

if we use that map, does that mean that we all start out in different places?
and is moving to another place an action?
in that case, is it possible to move only to a place directly connected to the one you're at? or can you move anywhere as long as there is nobody stopping you somewhere on the road?

We don't like Tasks at every 'location' - it just seems like a hassle.
Unless we have a rumandmonkey at every location, it's just going to be bleh.

However, a Task such as calling a Confrontation the Location Owner (Places Owned by Official Roles) can be implemented and I think it'd make it quite interesting.
So like the map we currently have now (the shitty one) - every role have their own 'Home's.
Which regardless of where they are, they can return to anytime if there's someone else there. (makes for teamplay)
They can also be summoned back for a Confrontation which could result in a Kill.

Like we mentioned to Leo above, everyone would probably start out at their Home location when the new Round start.
Alice can be with Mad Hatter. The others who don't have a particular place can pop up randomly (a list by us maybe.)

Moving to another place should be counted as an action. But maybe as a transport action. 2 transport actions within 24 hours?
1 Kill / Sabotage / Aid action within 24 hours?

Should we change that into 1 or 2 pages instead of 24 hours? Or either rule first?

i don't like the thought of using pages. i don't get how that would work
it should either be rounds where everyone takes their turn before the next. or 24 hours. or a combination of both

for example alice come to a place of someone
and get a task for example: red queen give her a task of bring a mushroom from Carterpillar alley and she will get some points(i.e. 100 points) for completing this. but also the task giver may put a deadline for completing this task like 5 hours etc.

that points may be used for transportation with horse chart
and we can put some costs for every place
like
2 step move costs 10 points
3 step move costs 15 points
4 step move costs 25 points
5 step move costs 40 points
6 step move costs 75 points
7 step move costs 100 points
...

but we can put a limit for horse chart steps. and if alice or white rabbit made their step they should wait an hour for using horsechart

when i said "fixed tasks", i meant
we should define available tasks that may be given by owner in all places and the points that will be earned.
and we may put different tasks for White Rabbit and Alice

and we can put some weapon shops on path
and available equipments and weapons for every shop and costs of course

and we can put some great weapons that can be reachable with completing 3~5 tasks
(that should be defined which tasks had to be done for them)

and normal equipments and weapons are not good enough.

yet these are ideas

i edited it a bit

but some special abilities for every character maybe good for the game flow

for example Baron may move 5 places in one step ;)

mad hatter may make things invisible (i don't know exactly)

Dormouse may teleport the place that white rabbit is and helps it escape with his teleportation magic :P

it should be fair for all. so i don't think i'd want to move faster than everyone else

and regarding time limits, 24 hours might be a necessity, because of those time zones
there are people i hardly ever meet online, so... if one of those gives me a 5 hour limit, i'd not make it when i'm sleeping

and we need some required weapons and completed tasks for a fight between White Rabbit and Alice
for example : Alice should complete the some tasks and get a great weapon for killing white rabbit
same for white rabbit, WR should complete some tasks and get some weapons for killing alice.

this way only one white rabbit is enough for game

and there should be a jabberwocky for alice to face with.
and alice should complete all tasks that she can get and collect some great armor and a great sword for killing Jabberwocky
and if Alice kill Jabberwocky the game is finished and need to be restart.

this way it'll be a long breath game

in fact i have to be a game writer B) :D

but 24 hours may change easily for eveyone cause i may want to play two steps when it comes to 23:59 (11:59pm) and 00:01 am
and this may cause some problems

and this is different for everyone

but every exact hour
(1 o'clock,2 o'clock,3 o'clock,4 o'clock .....)
are same for everyone
(as much as i know there are no GTM 1.5 or sth like that)
