I think most people are anticipating Korra doing Avatar-stuff. I've been waiting for her to talk to Aang. But I don't think think they're going to let her do that until at least for another episode or two, considering that if she talks to Aang, she can probably solve a few of the mysteries.

Zuko is still alive; he handed the Fire Lordship over to his daughter 3 years back. That info is on some Flash companion to The Legend of Korra on Nick's site.

does anyone else besides me feel that everyone now is so nub? I mean Tenzin, Lin, they all feel so weak.... I miss the epic bending...

They're more like joke characters now, but you're right. In Aang's time there was much more epic bending going on, now it's all downplayed with technology (electricity can be produced, metal-bending is nerfed). I want to see extremist benders appear, like a faction of sadistic bloodbenders... and Korra's avatar state.

Meh...I think Amon's a non-bender type extremist. It'd be a bit over-powering if he wasn't.

Hmm...I loved the small flashes in this episode. It showed Tarlock (I think) overpowering Aang and the other's in the court using blood bending...really surprised me and of course, we got to see old toph (which is always a plus in my opinion.) Standard raised from the previous episode (which was a bit boring to be honest.)

I hope we get to see the Avatar State soon. Heck, I hope she uses it to simulate Aang and Air-bend the hell out of whatever Tarlock (Again it might be someone else...) did in court/place-where-the-flashes-were-from to the others.
