Vampire Movies I've seen:
Underworld
Let the right one in (both US and Sweden verison)
Underworld: Evolution
dracula 2000
interview with a vampire
Queen of the damned
fright night (new one only)
30 days of night
from dusk till dawn
Bade 1,2,and trinity
daybreakers
bordello of blood
(a few others can't remember titles)

Best vampire anime: Hellsing

Near Dark is a really good vampire film, and if you want something completely different, try Martin. For a vampire anime other than Hellsing, I'd recommend Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

For all those thinking of thanking me for the scanlations, I only upload them, and I'm just a mod here. Please leave a message on the actual groups' pages that do all the hard work.

Underworld , Underworld Evolution
Blade 1 & 2
Let the right one in (both versions are good)
Queen of the Damned (least favorite of the list)

I hope they understand that I really understand that they don't understand

Oh Sky.

fright night was pretty good for me....watched it twice and I LOVE HELLSING the movie (with hugh jackman) absolutely brilliant!!

as for twilight...the book's much better...but these day's vampires have all turned good...where are the vampires who jus bite people when they're hungry and so not care wat happens to them..??!! *sigh*

I liked the original Blade movie. Followed by Interview With A Vampire, then Bram Stoker's: Dracula.

the best vampire movie for me is Coppola's Dracula...
when I was little I wanted to see it but my brother wouldn't let me so I hid n' watched it anyway^^
of course I have seen it a couple of times since then... I like the atmosphere n Gary Oldman is great as Dracula...
I have seen other vampire movies too but none has exceeded this one^^

The one with eddie murphy was pretty good. Vampires and urban settings mix well.

Buffy. I have never seen the movie, but if it's half as good as the series then you should definitely check it out.

Higanjima. It's alright but manga is the best.

I want to read Ann Rice's Intervirew with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned, the unabridged versions again. Its been a long time.
The problem with movies that come from books is the fact that they can't put in the details that a book can because they just don't have enough time. Most movies nowadays run a little over an hour. Sadly, people just dont have the attention span that they used to, therefore, they get bored after an hour and a half. So they had to start hacking away at the details, and completely changing what the books had originally designed for the particular story.

Hence, books will always be better than the movies.
