i only knew this website 1 year ago. alas is going to shutdown.

I am saddened by this news. I've always enjoyed Batoto as one of the places I could come without being ganged up on by the ads and malware so common to other sites. Perhaps it is appropriate that my first post is then my last. Goodbye Grumpy. Take a vacation, relax, and then leap into your next adventure. I wish you all the best in the coming years.

Today is indeed a sad day for all of us. I had so much fun on this site that only now that it is closing that I realized how important it was for me. I took it for granted, and now I am more affected by its closure than I expected to be. But life goes on. I wish all the best for you, Grumpy. Thank you very much for all the effort, sweat and tears you spend to maintain this site. Thanks for all the staff who helped to keep everything working, and for all members. Best wishes for everyone.
