So with censorship running rampant on this side, mostly incredibly one sided censorship at that more and more series are being quietly and silently removed. The worst thing about this is that somehow you don't feel there's any need to even let us know. Would be great if you could change that.

This has been brought up a multitude of times.........at least a few since all the DMCA stuff went down.......

And frankly it's come up just time and again since the site opened its doors........pretty much every time someone decided to be snarky when one of their faves gets yanked, like I'd guess is the case here. It always boils down to "you shouldn't pull that at all, and if you do you owe me an explanation and a notification, damnit!!"

 

Just calm down there, "rampant", things are gonna be okay. Go read the ones you have to somewhere else and get used to the fact that other people have feelings too........ones that just aren't necessarily going to conform to you getting your way each and every time.

 

The don't owe you, me, anyone, any kind of notice. People have been plaintively whining about that for years now.

"Don't be snarky..." he says, being all snarky and condescending. There's a lot of censorship going on way outside of DMCA stuff, fairly hypocritical at that. The whole attempt at making people who'd like to get a notification about this happening so they know it happened when they primarly use this side for reading as "entitled" and "childish" borders on fanboying. That it keeps coming up just shows that it's a concern to quite a few people, who unless they go out of their way to check all their followed series manually for updates have no way of knowing a series got removed from the side.

That it keeps coming up I think more goes to show just how widespread these feelings of entitlement are in so many people. Try taking responsibility for keeping up with your own affairs and you won't find the need to keep blaming things on others.

 

Batoto is a privately run enterprise, they can "censor" whatever they want, regardless of your personal seal of approval or accusations of "hypocrisy".

 

I assume you just came here to blow off some steam, which is fine, good luck with getting this out of your system........if you're actually serious about the whole "you should "let us know"" shtick, well, you should've looked in the forums before wasting everybody's time by creating a duplicate thread, all this has been beaten to death already. It's never gonna happen.

If there is an official removal or if any series goes against the rules, there will always be an notice in series' description.

if there is no notice within the series that goes against our rules and it should, you can report the series to us.

 

Other than that, series that have no notice is the following:

- they are posted in our old thread in announcement.

    Also, All DMCA series/chaps that were removed have reasons as to why there is no notice in their own series' page

   

it is too troubling to send notice when any series is removed to its followers.
