I think it's too early for Taraka to re-spawn. Though, I would like to see how strong she's become now that Yuta developed.

Behind the scenes for the past few weeks:

 

Sagara stands with her arms crossed, rhythmically taping a toe on the ground.

(distant sound of a toilet flushing)

Kubera: I... I think I'm ready now.

Samphati: ...

Sagara: About damn time! Now gather the forces—

Kubera: ...uuuuurrrrruuuuurrrrrppPPPP!!  (disappears off-screen)

Sagara looks at her watch, then crosses her arms again.

Maruna: Come ON!

Samphati: ...

Agni will need a dramatic entrance, so I don't think he'll show up until the battle gets heated. I wouldn't mind too much being wrong here, though.

 

Gandharva will also arrive fashionably late.

 

Sagara will prepare a team to quietly infiltrate Aeroplateau when Samphati breaks all the barriers while in her freaky winged humanoid sura form. Clophe will be on this team, and he will run into Airi and instantly recognize her. He will be so traumatized by the encounter and allows Airi to beat him up.

 

The Season 2 preview scene is actually Leez trying to open a gate to bring in the Chaos suras (to be led by Yuta), but Saha tries to stop her.

 

Many, many holes in this prediction, I know.

Death Temple, Barrier room

 

Claude sits on a chair next to the window that faces the temple gardens, the glowing barrier stone right behind him in the middle of the room.

 

"Haha, should be about now, huh?"

 

Just at that moment.

 

-Bang!

 

A muffled voice: "Ah.. Why the hell is the door locked..."

 

The voice, now louder: "Claude-nim! It's an emergency! Asha Rahiro escaped her prison cell. Your help in recapturing her is requested! Please open the door!"

 

"...."

 

The voice from outside, more urgent: "Claude-nim! Please open the door!!"

 

"In your dreams. Haha."

 

"What?!"

 

Claude turns to the door, smiling and answers louder: "I said: I can't hear you over me working my ass off to protect this beautiful city!"

 

"C-Claude-nim?! Open the door!! It really is an emergency! Not even Saha-nim can find her!"

 

"Ahahaha!"

 

Voice, soliloquizing: "F#ck this, this guy is f#cking nuts!"

 

Claude opens a bag of Curry chips and waves at the people who stand down in the temple garden and wave their fists at him, joyfully eating one chip after another.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Darkness Temple, Laila's office

 

Laila looking at some reports while sitting at her desk.

 

Her assistant hurries in. "Laila-nim, an urgent notice from Claude-nim!"

 

"Huh? Give."

 

Laila unfolds the notice.

 

[Good Luck, 'Laila'! ƪ(^▽^)ʃ ]

 

"...?"

 

A messenger comes running. "Laila-nim! An emergency! Asha Rahiro escaped her prison cell!"

 

...Followed by another messenger: "Laila-nim! Claude-nim locked himself up in the barrier room and won't open the door!!"

 

Laila: "CLAUDE!!!"

I predict Agni meeting Yuta in today's chapter.

[Nualie]

I want my dream to get real so I can proclaim myself a seer, err, I'd like to see Asha's new outfit.

 

Also, I wonder if people can be hidden in Asha's old fur cloak. Like, pulling a Hide of Bondage? xD

Only a Gandharva and Shess conversation could be followed by a Yuta and Agni conversation. Quality is too high .

 

I think next chapter will at least continue with Kasak, Agni, and Yuta talking about their involvement in this fight. Discussing tactics, questioning Yuta's support and how far he's willing to fight for the city. Then, they will head for the magician's meeting where Leez will be presented. (in the following chapters)

 

So maybe we get a short response from Gandharva to Shess, followed by the K,A,Y conversation.
