Summary:

I've been lurking on this topic for a while now, great stuff btw. Alot of it I read and found out about before I saw the topic, but it still falls in hand into what I like to read, so i figured I'd pay it back by sharing an awesome site that i recently discovered with tons of fanfics from the pokemon universe, the catch is, its a completely made up universe (but extremely detailed and well made universe), where all the pokemons are female counterparts (think monster girls type) and they have to have sex to survive. Alot of the stories do involve sex, but some dont, however there are ALOT of fanfics, some of them extremely entertaining and quite long in length. Took me over a month to read most of the good ones. (imo the ones by Kerrick Wolf, and the other stories and mentions when reading his).

Honestly I never liked pokemon, didn't even wanna read fanfics to begin with.... but damn, I read 1 story and was hooked and kept reading till there was nothing left. I especially liked some of the later stories involving what would happen if the actual Authors of such stories from our universe was transported to this pokegirl universe. Interesting stuff.

Sanctuary Series- Robert J. Crane

 

I linked the Goodreads page of the first book. The series is really good, it's like a rpg in some ways but it has a really good story and characters that are well developed in the next books. It has humans, elves, dark elves, trolls, etc and magic, as well as Guilds that are key in this world. It's 7 books right now(5 of the main series and 2 of side stories which are kind of important) and the author has planned 3 books more.

Have had this page bookmarked forever, finally made an account on here to recommend a novel I've been following. The author does a very good job of bringing together Virtual Reality, Transported and Reincarnation since the protagonist, a boy of 12 dying to a genetic disorder is taken off life support and his consciousness is uploaded into the game. With his memory wiped he only remembers flashes of his old life, hence does not miss it. 

Has been interesting so far as the writer looks back at his family in the real world once in a while. The character has taken on a unique existence as a being somewhere between NPC and player.

I see you have moved location to a new thread. Still, congratulations, it is the best list I have seen to date ^.^

 

Anyway, I feel bad commenting without adding a recommendation, so here is my nomination for a the novel category:

 

The Bitterbynde Series by Cecilia Dart-Thornton.

Book 1: The Ill-Made Mute

Book 2: The Lady of the Sorrows

Book 3: The Battle of Evernight

 

I found it a little hard to get into, but was well worth it in the end.
