Inside, I'd be embarrassed as hell, but since they've known all along and they've never felt the need to talk about any of it before, I'd try to stay calm and act natural.

 

The person who you're closest with (friend, parent, sibling, lover) tells you that all of a sudden, they've obtained a mental connection with you. They can now read every single one of your thoughts. Think happy thoughts... happy thoughts. Also depending on what they did with that knowledge, it would be pretty damaging to the interpersonal relationship. I think I'd end up like the people in the first episode of Kino's Journey and want to get away. Sad but true.

I think nothing would change, because they're all so very honest.... or narcistic, it's too obvious, it kinda depends who, but most of the time there are things I don't want to know. But can you stop reading their minds? Cause if you constantly read someone's mind I think ye would go crazy.... yeap

I would arm myself with whatever was available for self-defense (something heavy and blunt hopefully), leave the house, and call the police. If I was feeling like an idiot, I might try to sneak up on them and capture them. I hate thieves. >_>

Inform them that if they keep messing around, I'll tell their lover about what happened. If they kept it up, I'd just tell my friend.

I'd reject it. I don't really care much about such things.

Though, if it were about colonizing the moon because of the earth dying, that would be a completely different matter.

I'd try my hand at mediating between cats and birds.  And fail.  But I'd still like to talk to both.  Course I'd have a feeling this is all I'd get from the birds.

Probably the president and get ride of some stupids laws and and add some things.

Honestly, though, I don't imagine that would be very useful because A) I don't speak lawyer jargon, so I wouldn't know how to write those laws and as soon as he comes back to his senses, I don't see why he wouldn't undo it.
