I'll be adding more npcs and stuff up overtime.  If anyone is looking for any kind of npc for bio/connection reasons feel free to ask and I'll add them right away or give you the information in private. 

 

How much influence does Pavlo Kozel wield in mortal world? Also are you planning informant-type NPC?

Kinda depends. If the gangster is just some human dude who has just fumbled his way into the supernatural then I'd go gangster all the way. Assuming they're both accustomed to the supernatural then I guess bounty hunter, as I feel like a supernatural gangster would be sorta intuitively locked into a position of a low-to-mid level enforcer for Kozel.

The fact that he has personally conquered the entire supernatural criminal underworld said so. Though I guess you could also roll as a supernatural street thug who roll with/leads some minor gang and hopes they don't get eaten/incinerated/egg-burdened/slaughtered by Kozel's organized forces.

 

Granted the way Kozel runs things and how thoroughly engrained the criminal underworld of otherworld society is on the everyday has not been fully explored. Perhaps being a non-member in his territory is actually less worse-than-death than I tend to imagine.

Pavlo Kozel has plenty of pull on the mortal side of things.  Most of the city still is populated by them so he has to deal with them.  There are also some mortal gangs and groups out there that he tolerates to exist if only for the fact that they take up the attention of the mortal authorities.

Background: Before we start you first have to be initiated a little in the ways angels work. See, angel can't exist on Earth without screwing it up royally because they are powerful as fuck and all that power tends to destabilize the world. Hence, angels coming to Earth in all of their power and grandeur are rare and short occurrences and most angels choose to exist in our world through human host. If this sounds very similar to demonic possession, it's because it technically is one (just remember what were demons before becoming demons).

Now that we got tedious explanations out of the way let's get this story started. Enter Yarael, a low tier malakhiml with little to no history to his name. Mission which got him on Earth is simple. He's pest control. Demons, vampires, werewolves, mages, faeries, boogiemen, hillbillies and stuff like that, whenever something supernatural gets out of line and start interfering with human world too much scrubs like Yarael are tasked with getting things back to bearable levels with blades, bullets and some sexy martials arts. Believe me, it's even more fun than it sounds. Pay is also godly.

However, don't misunderstand something. Yarael and his ilk aren't on a extermination mission (yet) and he is not expected to kill every supernatural denizen he comes across. Quite the contrary. Yarael is under strict orders to leave alone any supernatural creature which acts civil and doesn't mess with mortals more than what basic comfort demands. Infact, he is encouraged to makes friends with them (public relations and such crap). Now Yarael is kind off introverted so this making friends thing isn't really his strong point, but he's trying so don't be mean please (or you'll start intercepting bullets with your forehead).

Right now target is Pavlo Kozel. Why? Because Yarael happened to be in the city so why the fuck not?

Boss: more popularly known as Holy Father, Lord and God.

Viola DeWinter: a sexy young lady who also happens to be an arms dealer. She supplies Yarael with toys. Viola is vanila human and is not aware of supernatural creatures.

Special Skills:
OVER 9000: Most of Yarael's angelic powers were sealed when he was sent to Earth leaving him with only physical enhancement. He's stronger and faster than humans and he has powerful passive regeneration. He can heal bullet wounds and cuts in seconds, mend broken bones in minutes, re-attach limbs in hours and grow entirely new ones in a day. However, if his head is cut or if he takes too much damage in short period, it's bye bye.
Gun-fu: Yarael is very proficient at using virtually any firearm to the point where he can hit targets most of the time even while doing all kinds of acrobatics.
Kung-pow: Super-secret angelic combat style that takes 1000 years to learn and another 1000 years to master. Bullshit-free version: Yarael is very formidable opponent in melee.
Unlimited Equipment Works: Because Rogue, in his wisdom, didn't put Equipment section to the CS this skill here is to serve as a substitute. Assume Yarael can pull out any gadget or weapon that comes to mind. He has baggy clothes where a lot of stuff can be hidden. He also has a backpack where he keeps big stuff. No supernatural powers involved here. You've been warned.
1337 5k1||5: Yarael is the guy who beat your n00b a$$ in CoD and DotA2 and is your WoW guild leader. He's also excellent hacker because every open minded angel keeps up with modern technologies (but only Yarael sends US president nuclear missile launch codes).
Fast and Furious: He's like the guys in the movie, only real life.
Ride Never Ends: Yarael can't really die. Even if you kill his host body he will just go back to Heaven, find a new one and then return to Earth. Nothing better than a job where you can't progress and can't escape even if you die. At least you get some 50 years of holiday because perception of time is... different in Heaven. This skill is pure fluff and unless RP's plot stretches over 50 years Yarael is as good as dead for the purposes of RP if killed.

As for an informant what kind are you looking for?  The kind that are knowledgeable about magics and artifacts or the ones who snitch on people?  Maybe a source in a bounty hunter office.

Harold Dresdner is a mage whose magics deal with the mind.  He walks the streets and makes a living through fortune telling.  He's a good guy to know if you want to find someone.  As for someone on the inside of the bounty hunter office you can just make up various contacts.  I have bounty hunter npcs but not the kind that would sell info on their marks.  Can just create like a secretary or low level guy.

I'd just like to know more abot Kozel, like the kind of 'power/ability' he wields or if that can't be revieled yet at least an idea of it, especially regarding if its magic or whatever.

 

But since demons, angels and even a 'god/deity' character(s) have been created, hopefully the one I have in mind would be good. Just got to think of a bio that makes sense and if his weapons or whatever will be passable lol.

Oh no, I was just curious since I was heavily thinking about having him being a potential target/enemy.

Kozel would naturally be an enemy for the church, right?

If not, how does the church feel about him?

 

More importantly what would Briggs think about him?

They aren't friends but they aren't necessarily fighting.  The Church doesn't have a real strong force in the city and they aren't allowed to really do anything in the name of the church.  So they don't like him and try to help protect the innocents but other than that they try to just avoid him.

I'm finally getting caught up on everything and my workload is finally lessening so I hope to make a character for this. Got an idea about a character.

 

Out of curiosity though, Rogue, will we be getting you back in BoF now that you've returned? Renly is still alive and kickin' if you feel like coming back
