The Maiden of Beasts

 

Name: Maria Leanne Rossignol Kaloc

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Academy Membership: Teacher

 

History: 

 

Maria Leanne was practically a normal woman in her little village, Varios. She was 'the talk of the town', she was well sought after many suitors who pursue her beauty and kindness.

 

But she wasn't just a helpless beauty, she was born with a very special ability to tame beasts and train them. Her  first beast she had ever tamed was her wyvern named Sapphire. Sapphire was a baby wyvern that was abandoned and then found by the young Maria. She took the wyvern in, much to her parents despise. But Sapphire became very obedient and a loveable pet that the family enjoyed to have. Sapphire is still a very small species of wyverns but she capable of breathing a hot blue flame.

 

There was that fateful day when she met someone who had captivated her heart. It was a vagabond named Gale Kaloc, and she fell in love with him because of his personality. It took a while before Gale finally showed his true self, but it was all worth it as she loved him more. Eventually he was despised by the many suitors that wanted Maria for a long time, and by her parents who were displeased about Gale being a vagabond. Eventually, she won against her parents and she was free to date Gale.

 

One day, she was kidnapped by the notorious gang that wrecked havoc in the village. Gale came and saved her from the gang, and eventually caused the whole gang to disband. It was a joyful moment for Maria and the whole village.

 

After a while, they had finally got married to each other and had a lovely son. Gale was to work hard to get the money to provide for the family, while Maria was hired into Camus Academy were she was to teach many other students. She wishes to teach her students about many beasts that can be used as pets or companions. 

 

Personality:

-Kind and caring.

-Can be easily annoyed if provoked.

-Very brutal when pissed off (who wants a good whipping?)

-Enjoys to spend time with her family and her wyvern.

-Twists her wedding wing as a sign of being annoyed.

 

Relationships:

-To make things a little spicy and change up the continuity, she is actually Gale's wife. (who will probably not be in this RP  )

Name: Iblis As'jasin
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Academy Membership: Guest teacher for Enchantments, Researcher in Runic Studies

Appearance: He is taller than his brother Gale ( around 6'4''), has a lot of scars adorning his torso and a big cut on his face giving him a fearsome countenance, he doesn't wear the standard uniform of the academy rather his usual lioncloth and cloak.

History: After Ashia left her sons to go on a crusade she never returned from, Iblis took it on himself to find her eventually leaving Gale behind, an action whose guilt eats him to this day.
Throughout his travels he gained a fearsome reputation for a cold blooded killer owing to many nasty rumours, many of which were untrue. Hearing of Camus Academy he decided that he should try applying there and correct the many false assumptions about his trade as well as his personality.

Personality Deathly serious is a term that is more than befitting the aged Necromancer. He keeps to himself mostly and is generally found in the library if not in his classroom. His strict and terse demeanour hasn't earned him many students or colleagues. He is one of the few who doesn't looses his bearing when talking to Maiev Rosamond as he feels a bond of kinship and the fact that he knew her much before their current meeting. While he keeps his opinions about her dressing to himself, he does enjoy the carnal beauty that is Maiev.
He is also fond of poetry and often indulges himself in writing limericks, most of his spells owing to those chants.


Likes: Reading on magic; he is the most frequent visitor in the Library, Practising runes and setting traps around the academy compound to guard the children from likely troubles, poetry, talking to Maiev and reminiscing their adventures or knowing about her life, conducting study on biology, drinking tea as opposed to blood as rumoured and exploring the nearby forests.

Relationships: Pending (Possibly Maiev, Alvilda, Camus and Gale's Wife)

Name: Aera vi Empyria

 

Age: 18

 

Background:

 

Fed up with life in the castle, Aera gave her father an ultimatum. Either he let her go off and see the world, or she would denounce her family name and live as a nun in the mountains. Of course, she didn't really mean to carry out her threat, but Aera being Aera, even the impossible became a possibility, no matter how ludicrous the consequences. Her shrewd father relented, but left her in the care of his capable friend, William Vauxof Bernard, now the owner of a prestigious academy. The princess couldn't care less, so long as she was freed from the castle walls.

 

Personality:

 

From afar, the princess appears to be refined and aloof, like a flower on some unreachable precipice. However, once she opens her mouth, the opposite couldn't be more true– the young noble is in fact good-natured, energetic, and perhaps a little bit too impulsive for her own good. Some people may find her rude at times due to her frank nature.

 

Relationships:

• Vesperus Falle - Aera's bodyguard. He seems to be constantly missing, however.

Name: Vesperus Falle

 

Age: 24 (based on identification documents)

 

History:

Little is known about Vesperus. One could almost say he doesn't exist; his name is on quite a lot of military documents though, most of them consisting of honorary titles. People think that he was one of the emperor's most trusted generals. There are quite a few stories about him. Many women have sworn that the mask hides the face of a handsome demon, while the others swear that his face is riddled with scars. No one but Aera has seen the face of Vesperus.

 

Personality:

Vesperus seems to be a night owl, only appearing during the evening. The man is never seen without his mask, and even then, he rarely speaks.

 

Relationships:

• Aera vi Empyria - He is her bodyguard, though he is never seen with her. He's probably lurking in the shadows, watching over her from a distance.

The Lioness

 

Name: Skadi Fjord Doomhammer

 

Age: 23

 

Gender: Femme Fatal 

 

Academy Membership: Female sparring partner for Swordsmanship and Wrestling Classes, School's Weaponsmith and In-charge of Smithy Class.

 

Appearance: Skadi usually wears a linen backless shirt highlighting the big tribal tattoo on her back coupled with a black corset when dueling or sparring. She wears varied short skirts and leather boots. At 6'5'' she is rather tall for a woman and she being a warrior and northerner has an impressive set of muscles and scars. Has a small scar over her left eye and a full, hip-length wild red hair giving her an all-round fearsome look. She is also well-endowed and enjoys making out with men and women.

 

Background: After having a few trysts with the bad-boys of the north, the daughter of the blacksmith of the winter marches decided that she won't wait anymore for her first love. That 5 years have been long enough and that she will not wait for him to summon the courage to ask her father for her hand or even his father for her to his bride. So packing necessary stuff in the sack Skadi set-out for Empyrea. Dropping a proverbial bomb at the Everett estate when she gatecrashed a ceremony there, only to announce her deep love for the only child of Myles. Sif Everett seeing herself in the red-haired maiden decided it is fair that she be given a chance to win her son just like she herself won Myles. For all the innate and unending manliness of the Everett males they were remarkably mild-natured in cases of love. Telling her the destination which her son had taken for Camus Academy she packed more supplies for the red-head and bid her farewell, reminiscing her own young days.

 

So Skadi set out to win her man and thinking of a way to get into this new academy. She thought her skills will be of some use to the headman which to her surprise was a remarkable albeit a bit serious young mage. So she enlisted as a guest teacher for foundry and smithy and as sparring partner if the weapon classes needed any. Magnar was happily surprised to see her there and Skadi is attempting to rekindle the old flame, which last had fanning air when she assisted her bull in making his weapon.

 

Personality: Opposites Attract is a cliche that fits far too well for the power pair, Skadi is outgoing, talkative, flirty and confident of her sexuality which she uses to sway a few hearts interested in big women. She matches Magnar in size and prurience. She is rather tall for a woman but well endowed with nature's harvest in the necessary areas, coupled with her own tough upbringing making her fairly lithe but muscular.

 

Likes: Meat of any kind and flavor, fighting (both bare-handed and weapons), appreciating wines and ales, and coitus.

 

Relationships:

1. Magnar Myles Everett - Her first and most prolific lover, she is head over heels on this brute. They bring the best out in each other. Other than the fact that they share most likes she loves him all the more for being a beast in the bed as well.

With the division by years, the students can have a council and elect officials to represent them to the school board. Or you can combine both!
