Though Camus left Arcanum a couple of years ago. It takes time to build and academy after all

 

Elder characters are welcome to take the roles as guests or teachers, but it's fine if you want to create younger characters and be a student too

Heck, you're welcome to be a 30-yo legendary student too, actually XD

 

And I should say it now.. There won't be as much fighting in this.

I'll still make an action arc every once in a while, but this RP would mostly be a comedy one.

 

 

One last note, you don't need to post a full history if your character is also in the original BoF. Just elaborate on how you get involved with the academy

This is just a spin-off to where the third crusade doesn't happen but that said, the fact if you were to bring your BoF character until this one it'll have to be the same age if not at least late 20's and have him as staff or something since the 2nd crusade was 25 years ago when aisha died lol.

 

I'm just going with a younger, slightly different version of my character and drop her age from 25 to 18, there abouts if not 19 since I rather her be a 'student' then staff or whatever.  I think being a student would be fun and plus since its an alternate reality, I at least want some changes if I were to bring Rayne into this one. But I'm still debating on whether to do it or not.

 

I'll just wait until more characters join to see if I'll proceed with an alternate version of Rayne.

Name: Maria Leanne Rossignol Kaloc

Academy Membership: Teacher

 

History: 

 

Maria Leanne was practically a normal woman in her little village, Varios. She was 'the talk of the town', she was well sought after many suitors who pursue her beauty and kindness.

 

But she wasn't just a helpless beauty, she was born with a very special ability to tame beasts and train them. Her  first beast she had ever tamed was her wyvern named Sapphire. Sapphire was a baby wyvern that was abandoned and then found by the young Maria. She took the wyvern in, much to her parents despise. But Sapphire became very obedient and a loveable pet that the family enjoyed to have. Sapphire is still a very small species of wyverns but she capable of breathing a hot blue flame.

 

There was that fateful day when she met someone who had captivated her heart. It was a vagabond named Gale Kaloc, and she fell in love with him because of his personality. It took a while before Gale finally showed his true self, but it was all worth it as she loved him more. Eventually he was despised by the many suitors that wanted Maria for a long time, and by her parents who were displeased about Gale being a vagabond. Eventually, she won against her parents and she was free to date Gale.

 

One day, she was kidnapped by the notorious gang that wrecked havoc in the village. Gale came and saved her from the gang, and eventually caused the whole gang to disband. It was a joyful moment for Maria and the whole village.

 

After a while, they had finally got married to each other and had a lovely son. Gale was to work hard to get the money to provide for the family, while Maria was hired into Camus Academy were she was to teach many other students. She wishes to teach her students about many beasts that can be used as pets or companions. 

 

Personality:

-Kind and caring.

-Can be easily annoyed if provoked.

-Very brutal when pissed off (who wants a good whipping?)

-Enjoys to spend time with her family and her wyvern.

-Twists her wedding wing as a sign of being annoyed.

 

Relationships:

-To make things a little spicy and change up the continuity, she is actually Gale's wife. (who will probably not be in this RP )

Besides her lab coat, all of her shirts have been modified to show off the 'Angel Wings' tattooed on her back in remembrance of her dear sister - who died for the peace The Empire enjoys today. She also wears black-rimmed glasses with red lipstick, make-up, and large earrings.

The little sister of Dame Rosamond, personal handmaiden to The Empress of Light, Maiev-Dalal grew up on stories of how awesome and great her older sister was. Recently however, rumours began circulating that the Dame and the other heroes that died in the crusade were corrupted by the Dusk. And that they were killed by The Seven Holy Knights instead of by dusk monsters. When the empress refused to comment on the matter, Maiev left the capital with her daughter in protest. A few months later, they settled in the village of Prodesto. Once contruction of Camus' Academy was complete, Maiev had Alvilda enrolled as a student and joined on as one of the teachers herself.

Fun and Flirty, Maiev loves teasing people - mostly the always-angry headmaster, Camus of Leviathos. (¬‿¬)

And definitely the other female teachers and female students, who cannot stand how she dresses and think Maiev is too... Improper in her role as a teacher. The quickest way to get her mad, is disrespect The Dame Rosamond. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ

With her permission, Alvilda wears make-up and lipstick similar to her mother's but prefers wearing short skirts instead of pants. Both mother and daughter have the same, smokey grey eyes. Alvilda's glasses are red-rimmed.

After rumours began to spread about how Alvilda's aunt was a 'Warlock of Dusk', her mother quickly took them away from the capital so they didn't have to hear those lies anymore. Her step-father on the other hand, didn't join them. And a few months later, he divorced their family and took back his last name of Cousland - only to give it away again when he married into another noble family. Alvilda was happy to see him go. Now it was just mother and daughter again, against the world!

Alvilda is direct and to the point. Easily annoyed, she prefers playing sports to anything where she has to be 'nice' to people she thinks are stupid. Her favorite subject is anything her mother teaches - though she hates watching guys drool over her like a piece of meat. Because of this, she always sits up in front of the class - and is always getting info fights during recess. She also isn't afraid to kick teachers if she catches them lusting after her mom.

Alvilda doesn't have many friends since she's taller than most girls, and all the boys just want to talk about her mom.

Maiev is open to teaching other subjects, like Artificer (magical weapon crafting) or being Deputy Headmistress (to get closer to Camus)

But I second that, it's kind of a head scratcher. Unless shes tracking camus down for whatever, a new character would probably be best. xD
