Symptom: Delayed redirect (browser force closed before page loaded)

I didn't have a chance to see anything notable. The url was all I could find in my history. I'm so used to unwanted ads that I actually have a keystroke to forcibly close my browser, lol. Anyway, page was accessed from Chrome on W7.

"League of Angles"... How desperate are these pricks getting? I saw someone share a screenshot in this thread with a line like "Your chorme browser has secure bugs". These lowlives must actually be profiting for this to still be a thing.

I had a spark of realization: Sometimes people install programs or browser plugins that insert external ads into your webpages. These don't come from the site you're accessing, but from the program responsible for doing it.

They're often hidden in things that I never install, like embedded video rippers or fishy video codecs from phishing sites. I don't have this problem myself, but I know people who do, so it might be worth considering a disclaimer that the ads may not be coming through batoto at all.

I'd like to say Fragile has a Point. Addons like Fast Video Downloader used to insert unwanted kinds of Ads into Places (Before I uninstalled it.)

 

Some other add-ons, too, link Ads in Browsers for revenue... so he may be on to something here.

1) Put link of the Advertisement in Code, by clicking on the <> Icon you can see in the Image here to make things easier for the Admins.

There doesn't seem to be any obvious ad that it's coming from and it opens a while after I've opened the page (lovingly when I'd started up a full screen video and it very lovingly violated my eyes). Also it seems to be happening more and more.

 

Edit: went back to the main page only to have my ears hit my a milo ad >_>

Not hard to guess where that one came from.

Alright, I decided to have faith in Batoto and keep my adblocker inactive for now.
I removed all addons except for Adblock Plus, which I'll keep inactive for Batoto; that makes 2 addons removed from Firefox, the "Youtube Video Downloader" and the "Adblock Plus Popup addon". Let's see how that'll work out.

Hopefully whoever is responsible for Batoto's ads will be able to rid us of it then.

If not, I might dedicate some of my time to write a custom ad filter for Batoto, so that ad-aware users can browse this site without having to block everything.

Yeah I was getting those LoA ads with nearly every page change, sorry until that stops the adblock goes on for Batoto which sucks since I don't mind supporting the site through ad views but forced popups is a no-go.

The bubble wrap ad does appear on the side bar like in before being redirect to that page. I have no idea what is on the page cause I have Flashes block on my computer till I other wise allow it. Believe the bubble wrap ad is connect to a website Adnxs.com. Good luck with this problem.
