Could be, yes, but oh well, I can't tell for sure if that's the wording used from the Google Translate. :(
I wish the Tower of God folks could lend us a few translators. xD

Have to figure the way the hours are yet don't know if the first hour is 0001 to 1.00 AM , or the fist hour is 1.00 to 1.59 AM

If we assume that Kuberean calendar is based on Chinese, then there is a high probability that the first unit of the day (2 hours) begins at 23:00 and ends at 01:00 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_calendar#Hours_of_the_day], however collisions in 23:00:00 and 1: 00:00 would still have to be resolved (where the interval is open).

Sorry for quoting an old post and for my bad English.

Trajectory, area of application, topology.

As for the time being between 23:00 and 1:00, that'd make sense. :o I stopped determining the exact formula when someone explained that the real reason they don't post the formula in the KuCa is to prevent abuse (by someone who'd then claim a false birth date to play as a Triple in the KuCa's role-playing section)

I didn't know that was why they did not reveal the formula (neither that there is a role-playing section). So better that way.

It's called Kubera Living. :) I saw the section before but never did understand what it was about until someone told me. You can choose to be a magician or fighter in one of the starting cities: Atera, Mistyshore or Rindhallow, and the character will have "your" birth attributes, which means they also determine what Bhavati spells you can use and how good at them you are (though, to not make Triples too overpowered, the Triples are given a penalty. They're probably still stronger than average though). Your character can start quests and such and buy items. In the KuCa, there are corresponding sections. For example, the Mistyshore section has a Shopping Lane section etc., with lots of little avatar pics with items on them.

In the beginning, I thought it was a "Use points to spruce up your avatar" section, which got me really confused because you can't show off avatars that size in the KuCa. xD And the resident area is full of tents (probably because most players are too poor to afford anything else, which is also rather sad x'D ), and most player avatars seem to be wearing nothing more than pajamas. xD (okay, shirt and pants)

I don't think the calendar is based on the Chinese calendar. Kali would be the patron of the first two hours and Chandra would follow after. However my hourly attribute is Chandra and I am born in the afternoon. On the other hand, it would make sense if it incorporated a rotation system, with the gods claiming one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon with Kali starting from midnight to 1:00am.

Vayu/Agni/Marut

Most likely.

Battradio used extrapolation to figure out the months/ dates a while ago. Otherwise, I suspect Every god is given two one hour periods starting with Kali at midnight (so there would be two rotations. It goes back to Kali at noon.)

Agni/Marut/Vayu by our calender and since the author doesn't like giving out the Formula to figure out the conversion into the Kubera Calender it's the best you can get currently. :/
fiveseconds is right.
(Mine is Agni/Marut/Chandra ;) )

You can't really compare our calendar to the one in Kubera though.
12 months,
3 weeks in a month. 36 days in a month.
432 days a year. Ours being 365.
Not sure how the Chinese calendar works though.

Decided to do the math for fun, Human Kubera who is 16 in the story would be ~19 in our calender. I didn't calculate the months because I have no idea what the date in the story is currently. (I think it was mentioned they were in Kali right now.)

We're currently only guessing. The Kuberean calendar and our calender isn't compatible, not to mention all the different time zones. But if you want to know your attributes, look up battradio's chart on pg 2 of this thread. I derived the hours from my own hourly attribute given and it is VERY LIKELY TO BE FAULTY.

Hours are as following (applies to both AM and PM time):

Kali (nil): 12:00 - 12:59
Chandra: 1:00 - 1:59
Asvins: 2:00 - 2:59
Brahma: 3:00 - 3:59
Vayu: 4:00 - 4:59
Surya: 5:00 - 5:59
Agni: 6:00 - 6:59
Varuna: 7:00 - 7:59
Indra: 8:00 - 8:59
Kubera: 9:00 - 9:59
Marut: 10:00 - 10:59
Yama: 11:00 - 11:59

Therefore you would be Brahma.

Actually, it's simply impossible to tell your hour attribute without calculations, because a Willarv day does not correspond to an Earth day.

An Earth year has 365 days. A Willarv year has 12 x 36 = 432 days, however judging from how the KuCa calculates attributes, an Earth year and a Willarv year are considered to be the same length.

Therefore a Willarv day is shorter than an Earth day. If your birth time on Earth is say, July 3rd at 11:30 AM, it could be June 35th at 19:55 on Willarv for example (just to give you an example, I did not calculate). It is still possible to deduce one's attributes through a modulo exercise, and I was close to figuring out the formula (I got my first two attributes right, and my third off by 1 I think), but I decided to stop when I realized that the reason the formula is not given is to prevent people from lying about their birth time to obtain better attributes and cheat at the KuCa roleplaying game. Even though this forum isn't the KuCa, I'll still avoid having the formula around.

The KuCa sometimes launches events to calculate your attributes for you, but to participate:
- You have to have signed up to the KuCa already
- I think you need to have a minimum of 5 posts

So I have mine, and if you want yours, you could ask the KuCa when such an event comes by.

Bhavati Marut seems to be the most powerful offensive magic because it directly affects space ... difficult to resist that.

Bhavati Asvins seems rouright broken. How to negate the effect after one got hit with that other than killing the caster?

Hoti Vayu apperantly got some serious abuse potential with kill via teleport and suchlike.

How does Bhavati Chandra work? And does its effect multiply for triple attribute users (as in 1,5x9 = 13,5 times stronger affected magic)?

So all Leez family members are triple attributes...

Probability for being triple attributes:
of any god - 1:144
of specified god -1:1 728
of specified god for two family members - 1:2 985 984
of specified god for three family members - 1:5 159 780 352

I don't think that was coincidence

That was Visnu

Well now we know what Yama spells do, I guess.

Some stuff I made: All's here!

My profile on fanfiction.net is here.

Check Kubera out if you don't know it!

Because it's fun to see Leez dying inside and outside all over the place it's a story of romance, psychology and humor. And horror. A little.
