So the hero and heroine of the play are a handsome guy and a cute girl, as expected.-plain looking guy thinks.

-

One plain looking otaku guy (coin flip whether he is also overweight) and his two handsome friends are sitting on a bench.

Handsome guy one: It's so unfair that you couldn't have a role, even though you worked had to recommend the play.

Otaku guy: Don't be ridiculous, roles like that have to go to handsome guys like you.

Handsome guy two: There's no reason you couldn't be a soldier or something.

Otaku: What part of handsome didn't you understand. Besides, I was surprised that this guy tried for a role.

Handsome guy three: -blushing- I just wanted to try it out, since I'm so shy. (Shounen-ai vibes)

-discussion about manga/heroes-

Otaku guy: Of course I wouldn't want a development like being sucked into another world. I'd probably die right away. -makes a gross face-besides that role should be left to handsome hero types.

-end scene- Otaku guy walks into the school and sees the head jock standing on breaking floor. Grabs hand. Gets pulled along for the ride.

Mysterious voice: You... hero.... light of ... holy... save... -mysterious thing is placed in jock.

Jock and Otaku fall into a weird shrine. Beautiful Female knight catches Jock -either princess carry(cushioned against probably large breasts) or levitation magic -and lets Otaku guy fall. (girl one?)

A girly-looking priest immediately welcomes them. Blahblahblah.

Priest runs up to the jock and grabs his hands, staring deeply into his eyes. (shounen ai intensifies)

Priest: Of course, someone as handsome as you must be the hero of legend. Please help us save our world from darkness.

Jock: ummm... -can't refuse, but wants the guy to let go of his hand-

-skipped scenes- Meeting Queen- Discussion of holy power he doesn't have- Otaku guy realizes he has the power... But no one will be happy with that. It's much better if the handsome guy is the hero. An ugly guy like me has no value.

-Jock swearing he will help the queen. He gets a hug and distracted by her (probably enormous) breasts.(girl two get)-

-Beautiful female Knight swears herself to jock.

Female Knight: Hero. Not the ugly guy to the left, but the handsome guy on the right. I swear my life and body to you.

Jock: -~~Slaps girl. -~~(ugh. violence against a girl? hitting a girl's face? problems here. maybe he just yells at her or ignores her.) I have no use for someone who judges people based on appearance. This guy is my friend. He tried to save me. That makes him as much of a hero as me.

Female Knight: I'm so sorry. -eyes tear up- Don't hate me.

Jock: ~~-Immediately forgives because crying girl-~~ Whatever.

-end scene-

Jock: Since you're only here because of me, I definitely will do my best to get you home.

Otaku grabs jock's shoulders. Otaku: I will come with you. (shounen ai vibes again)

Thoughts: I just have to fake it!---(out of context sounds bad)

What have you done you fool! Either it would be shounen ai or harem. Is that what you want?

Well... if it was I'm sure there are plenty of them.

Honestly, at the rate this is going, I might actually have preferred one of the parodies... This story is just depressing. Wasn't this supposed to be a comedy-based manga? What happened with all the hilarious scenes of Satoki getting weirdishly happy when Haruka raised flags? Those are the things that drew me in! All of a sudden there's so much drama and intrigue and I can honestly say that I did NOT expect(or necessarily want) this at all. I am still interested in how this turns out, but because of that last line in this chapter, I will be pissed as hell if

Haruka and co don't save Satoki, but also pissed as hell if they DO save Satoki... does that make sense? Satoki has had the church, royalty, soldiers, and even servants walk all over her and treat her like shit since she got to this world (except for Jet, but no, he was taken into Haruka's harem). You can't even say that her few allies treat her very well, and only in the limited circumstances that she is useful to them. I mean, would Miva even care two shits about her if she HADN'T had the holy maiden ability? Probably not. She would have been throw out on the street like the palace and church originally intended. Jesus christ, look at her face when she talks about Miva not needing her/seeing her anymore! She's BEREFT and that other girl makes it worse! She can't even believe that anyone cares about her if there's someone else that can do what she can do. Being used so much just to make Haruka look good just made that even more ingrained into her head. Even if someone else CAN'T do what she can do, they're still better than her if more people like them.

Even Haruka hasn't treated her very well. They have barely even spoken to each other since arriving in a new world together. Haruka had a lot on her mind, but she barely gave any thought to how everyone else was treating Satoki, whereas Satoki was freakishly obsessed with how Haruka got treated. She didn't even TRY to talk to Satoki or hear her out, just spewed garbage at her when things didn't go her way.

Now Satoki has been rejected by one of her very few allies after being blackmailed and threatened into a betrayal. She knows that her other remaining allies care more about Haruka and will prioritize her over Satoki. No wonder she can't even gain any self-esteem even though she's able to make epicly powerful weapons. If you think about it, she's never once been complimented for her ability through the entire series, except in the most back-handed way. She would have been 1000x better off if one of her real friends was transported with her instead of Haruka.

As for being pissed if they do/don't save her... I want them to show her that there actually ARE people who care enough about her to save her... but I don't want her to actually be saved by them. I want them to fail, to have their dramatic scenes and battles only for Satoki to have quietly slipped out the back hours earlier. I want her to actually find some way out of her situation without their help. Maybe she will convert doll-maiden to her side or something and they will escape together.

There's a lot on Satoki's shoulders right now, she's surrounded by people who will kill her if she doesn't agree to be used ([sarcasm font ]but hey, at least she's not pretty enough for rape to be a threat, right? [/sarcasm font]). I think it would do wonders for her self-esteem to know both that she DOES have people to rely on, but also know that she's capable on her own.

End rant. I feel much better now. It disappoints me a little because I was excited to see a female MC transported to another world (since there are xxx number of transported!maleMC!Harem! manga out there). It seemed like a nice change of pace. I hate seeing Satoki turned into a damsel in distress. But at least we know it's not going to be a cliche Knight-in-shining-armor to save her... except maybe the knight from Haruka's harem that would drop her the second he's done saving her.

I really don't like that. So haruka knew all the time who Satoki was but said Nothing! That little scum! I really, really don't like her. And the worst part? Haruka is a Holy Maiden to! Shit!!! The only thing that make Satoki special for everyone in this world are her powers! And now The beauty Haruka has it too. Oh god, my poor Satoki. Now the enemy want her dead!

AHH the art is great (paneling is a bit hit or miss though) and so is the premise. I usually don't go for the huge-misunderstanding-plot premise but since it's humor, it works out. I'm really looking forward to read more. I hope Satoki will learn to stand up for herself a bit better in the future HAHA everyone is incredibly rude to her for no reason though (I'm guessing the author wants to make her pitiable/self-insert feelings?), except Haruka. who is a sweetheart. I'm glad since I dislike seeing girls pitted against each other in these situations and inevitably wind up fighting over some guy who probably isn't worth it. I hope she gets closer to Haruka too like honestly, if she wanted to keep this up, that would probably be the best route to go. I think they have a lot more in common than she may think which is good very good

And ranting more on the rudeness thing, a previous commenter said that they were forcing these two girls to fight a war for them and that is totally true lord god how can you do that and then treat both of them so condescendingly and then pretend to be good because you're handsome/pretty or whatever god gjagjajgahga nobody has any shame AND adding on to what someone else said YES SATOKI REALIZE HOW MUCH POWER YOU HAVE IN YOUR HANDS...ANYWAYS

On one hand I really enjoy the almost voyeurism of the main character to the supposedly "heroine", but on the other her self-esteem is pretty bad. I am glad the "heroine" seems to be really nice at least. It's pretty funny how much the main character likes to watch.
