Now, in regards to the scratches on Shin, that's to be expected when Shin's a relative novice in using a glaive and Ouhon's a master with a spear. Plus, Shin's base strength is lower than Ouhon's - it's only when Shin is earnestly facing an enemy that his true strength emerges. Had it been Ouhon facing Houken outside of Sai, he'd have gotten his ass cleaved in half.

 

Ouhon and Mouten are pretty much on the same level in regards to intelligence and combat knowledge, so it's not too surprising for Ouhon to be superior to Ten and Kyoukai in that respect (recall that Mouten also received special acknowledgement from Shouheikun like Ten).

I liked how Kyoukai didn't give a shit and was just eating the whole time.

In ch 380 page 11, I think she's the only one near what I assume is the food table. In page 15, when everyone was overreacting like idiots to Ouhon's "brilliant" strategy, she was facing away and still stuffing her face.

 

To be honest, I'd do the same if I was in her place. When everyone's being made to overreact like fools to hype Ouhon up, staying quiet is the best move. Laughed at how she just yawned when she saw Ouhon and Shin's fight while everyone was panicking. Kyoukai isn't impressed with your spear skills.

all i can say is that 

this manga is awesome ,  

every chapter is field with epicness

Last time when Shin appeared after the short time-skip, with more developed KyouKai and Ten in tow, he seemed a lot more mature, manly, wise, awe-inspiring, etc. But OuHon's entrance and the author's attempt to flesh out more of his character and ability has left Shin looking like a brat with no brains, a big mouth, no tact, no composure, etc. I must say I find this quite exasperating. But hopefully he'll show OuHon who's boss during the coming battles.

Er, no, that would be Hyou the childhood friend of Shin who served as Sei's body double and was killed during Seikyou's real rebellion.

can someone refresh my memory on why sei said that he wish he could have spoken to seikyou about duke hyou, I can't remember what happened between the two of them.
