I would say we're seeing the Humanization of Mikan as a prelude to character development from Asashi. Right now their relationship works because he's too dumb to see her as a woman and she doesn't want to change the dynamic of their relationship... which makes me think something WILL happen in the near future that either 1) Makes Asashi reevaluate his relationship with Mikan or 2) Something happens with Asashi that forces Mikan to see him as a Man (e.g. a Rival to Mikan appears).

My money is on 2).

that's not a problem of being dumb, she just acts like a crazy chick, the dumb is she who instead of being honest with her feelings and saying what have to be said just go full crazy and annoying. Men aren't esper to know what other people think and feel.

Are we allowed to do childhood friend shipping or something? It could probably work, Mikan finding out the guy is a werewolf or something. It'd be better than having this become a harem.

In the flashback of him as a youth, he was normal sized. Probably just happened as he grew old and/or strong.

I think this was pretty cute so hopefully it won't become one of those harems who just keeps the status quo forever. I have some bad vibes from the werewolf rival guy but I will be praying the mangaka knows what he is doing.

It´s just okay read, just kind of goes on repeat for every new harem girl, know-your-secret-keep-you-secret-fall-in-love-repeat-with-next-girl. I was hoping for more from this, but left disappointed.

I really like this but the cleaner did an absolutely horrendous job and destroyed the art.

Actually, I always had this idea, that if you mold Mikan just an itty-bit, she could be one of the best heroines...

I get the feeling that Mikan is secretly emotionally unstable. If a guy came along and dominated her like a shoujo MC, she would crumble in his hands.

I also get the feeling she's evil because that façade is an excuse to get away with outrageous behavior that a prim and proper high school girl just can't get away with. This allows her to be an exceptional data gatherer.

Too much effort to go into why that set me off. The only part I agree with is her being unstable, hell she is nuts. Though I find her entertaining to watch somehow it manages to piss me off at the same time.

I really hope at no point in the story does she become a romantic interest. It would actually be nice to see that play out, a childhood friend that gets completely ignored from start to finish

I really like how proactive his friends are. Way better than those NPC-like usual friend A friend B etc. P.S. Mikan is a representative of a new type of heroines: schizodere. I like her character but I still wonder about how they were friends back in childhood (assuming that she had such character for a long period)
