It may be only me, but other than him kidnapping Ten, i kinda like this Jun Sou guy, his incredibly comedic calmness makes me wonder what kind of shit he has seen, or maybe he is just confident of the power and stupidity of Gaimou, and can concentrate in other things, still he is just too damn fresh. I think so far he is the most nonchalant character that hasn't struck me as arrogant, though he did got a little bit surprised when Shin blocked the first weapon clash with Gaimou.

 

Another thing interesting here, dem horse man, dem horses are something else.

I'm more annoyed by the fact that Shin always flys hunderd meter trough the Air whenever he gets hit. Everyone else gets sliced in half, but nope Shin has a superior body that just get launched in the sky

Well he did block the attack so of course he wouldn't get sliced in half. Another thing is that he trained himself very hard and at a really young age. Not only that, he's constantly at the front lines with everyone else, doing just as much, if not more than his whole unit combined. Lastly, the weight difference can explain why Shin flew while bigger enemies simply get pushed back a few feet. I mean, have you seen Gaimou? He's about twice Ryuusen's size!

He has plenty of skill with the glaive, he has been using it for a few years now just not quite as much some. Boldness or courage plays a huge part in a fight, it allows you to use more of your ability since you won't freeze up in fear or give up in hopelessness even when overpowered. Sure the author exagerate but I doubt there has been a single manga out there that doesn't, it helps make things seems more intense.
