Thanks everyone for even more recommendations. It looks like I will be busy for quite some time now

Btw i didn't have much time to watch allot of anime's and only managed to watch Gurren Laggan and friend of mine insisted i should watch Shigurui(Death Frenzy) which turned out to be pretty good and the 3 shorts of Memories (the first ep blew me away. Was completely taken by surprise by how good it was) 

Finally, Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann is missing from your list, but I can't imagine you haven't heard of it. Sure, it's mecha sort-of shounen, but it's simultaneously an affectionate parody of the genre.

So i watched Gurren Lagann and the first 12 ep's where the beginning of a masterpiece, although after that it wend down hill for me and at ep 25 i couldn't take it any more

Really glad i watched it (cause the first 12 eps where REALY good) so thanks for convincing me

I dropped Neon Genesis Evangelion after watching 6 episodes a few years back. Should i continue watching or are those 6 eps enough to determine if i will like the rest or not?

I read the first 50 chapters of the manga and never really felt the urge to finish it.  Can i watch the movie without knowing the whole story of the manga?

I dont know about Texhnolyze, it was kind of neat and Ren is awsome, but then it kind of felt that it was missing substance, like, weird for the sake of being weird. same thing with Paprika btw.

I read both of the manga's (and enjoyed them very much). I'm also slowly watching ep's of Btooom so i'm ready for the second season when it comes out (stopped with the manga because of the slow updates)
