But oh my flying shit. Things are going dooownn and the black king seems so hardcore and "I ain't takin no shit from anyone"-y and I really do think Jasmine should be the red queen but I love katarina cos shes so badass and sort of a bitch but not really she speaks so nicely to her sisters.

Dude went on a vacation without finishing his update.

He'll be back this weekend I think. This might be good for him to get a break and then start up again when he returns.

i wouldn't worry about this dying or anything, just a slow period. And I think we've all realized that dude cant be doing a whole bunch of updates on his own, especially when he leaves them all to the last second. I'm sure the GMs and helpers will take note of this and try to take some of the load off him. Or something I'm hoping.

If people stay interested we have nothing to worry about other than poking the GMs to update! xD We also had a slow period like this over Christmas, and we survived!

I'd take people's critiques as a grain of salt. 

RPing is about having fun! If writing your way makes you happy why stop? As long as its clear and people understand what you're saying.

Maybe I'm taking what you said too seriously but using the words "absolute" and "necessity" are pretty harsh on yourself. I think that now that you're aware of how other people perceive your writing maybe you can just be more conscience of it. And that's only if you want to do something about it.
