#1744394 [OOC] Hordes of the Tower of Ishido

Posted by The Illuminati on 19 April 2016 - 01:07 AM

Your character's personal level doesn't really matter. In fact, it might be less confusing if you guys didn't bother giving yourselves a level at all. The only progression system in this game is the 'hero's journey' (what I called the 'heroic level' before).

The hero's journey will determine the gear you'll find, the monsters you'll face, ect. The further along you get, the more you'll be allowed to accomplish. Right now, that means how many monsters your character can kill per post -- which, for now, is three.

@Faye: Both are fine, but you guys could use some diversity. So I'll pick the brother, for the mage.
@Hawk: Put your CS in the cache and start working on s post. ^^
@X: When I said everyone starts at level one, I was talking about the heroic level -- which I'm going to call from now on, the hero's journey. When I let Paper make her character a level five, I considered that her character's personal level -- which will have no real meaning in this RP.

Anyway, to avoid any further confusion, there are no more levels, just the hero's journey.

come at me kiri

you merely adopted the darkness

I was born in it. Molded by it. And I didn't see daylight until it was day 4 and by then it was nothing but blinding!

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

― C.S. Lewis

This meant a lot to me when I heard it, because I was the youngest child of my family, and all my friends and siblings and literally everyone I ever hung out with was older than me. Often times, even ten years or more. I was so worried about being seen as a kid that I actually stopped watching Pokemon and Yugioh, and even dropped one of my favorite book series at the time - The Magic Treehouse.

But now, one quote richer and twelve years wiser, I like the things I like regardless of what people say about them. Started watching Yugioh again on Hulu, and been playing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire without shame or embarrassment. :>

If you had a chance to pick one country to be born into (you'd still keep all your old family members) and you could experience what it's like to truly be a native and really experience the culture, what would you pick and why?

Lovely post DR! ^_^ It's great to see you back and posting again! Pray tell, are you recovering well? o.o!?

Ah! Thank you Missy xD.

I'm still on a liquid diet and the functions seem to be passing well. Everyone seems happy so I'm good. What about you? How are you?

As of right now? Yep.

Irene doesn't like him though. Remember Denathor and Faramir? It's like that.

The Tobias that I'm pretty sure I've mentioned once or twice in character is Marshall's older brother and the Boromir to his Faramir.

Dark attempts to murder Dante but his ridiculous endurance ensures Lune only caresses his rock hard abs

But who are we to pair Laika with then? We need more candidates.

Bitter loneliness and suffering, it's a menage a trois

#1509949 Fate: Age of Scions [OOC]

Posted by Socrates on 02 March 2015 - 01:56 PM

Yeah, go for it Liar. Though, I'm not sure what sort of physical or mental weaknesses you hope to uncover and use to your advantage. =O

This reminds me, a few players have basically begun fighting so I'll give them some skill points to go along with their weapon damage. The following players now have 6 skill points to spend on skills:
- Yvanna Eros
- The Count
- Aeloshir Goldmane
- Dorian Salttail

As you all remember, there are a few skill trees in the game: Empathy, Crafting, Lore, Trading, Fitness, Focus, and Combat.
First you'll need to spend a skill point to unlock a tree, then put a skill point into one of the branches to be able to use the skill.

Spoiler

Since you're all still lvl 1:
- a skill can not be raised passed +3 at this point and...
- you can not unlock more than 4 different skills. Bonus skills from your passive aren't counted in this rule.

When you're in a fight scene, I want you to add this next bit of information to your posts so I can track who is doing what, and how:

Anything to add to Itano's suffering, and not mine. I concur with this.
Thanks for the help Naifu! ^_^

You seem to forget that my own suffering can bring me pleasure

Edyrm will be shown his destiny and will find out he's the choosen one
to destroy and enslave the world

Some things are inevitable

Pft. -Eyebrow raise.- She has no interest in trying to meet a Princess who does not want a crown, I'm sure.
Besides, babysitting Itano is is a full time job!

This is true... Lets not talk about the time eyes were last taken off me for a sec

@X/Rogue/He: Nope. You guys can jump into the portal and then choose where you want to go from there. You don't have to stick together and you can choose to appear earlier in the story's timeline if you like.

@Rogue: Did Vaf loose interest or was he waiting on you to come out of your prologue?

Naifu...could you add that to her CS, pweeease? ^____^

Done.

Really? Sweeeet.

Not sure where and when to appear, hmmm.

Will try to re-read past posts and think about it.

Or this can be the time I introduce myself to Itano's character.

=P
