This meant a lot to me when I heard it, because I was the youngest child of my family, and all my friends and siblings and literally everyone I ever hung out with was older than me. Often times, even ten years or more. I was so worried about being seen as a kid that I actually stopped watching Pokemon and Yugioh, and even dropped one of my favorite book series at the time - The Magic Treehouse.

  But now, one quote richer and twelve years wiser, I like the things I like regardless of what people say about them. Started watching Yugioh again on Hulu, and been playing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire without shame or embarrassment. :>

The Tobias that I'm pretty sure I've mentioned once or twice in character is Marshall's older brother and the Boromir to his Faramir.

Yeah, go for it Liar. Though, I'm not sure what sort of physical or mental weaknesses you hope to uncover and use to your advantage. =O

This reminds me, a few players have basically begun fighting so I'll give them some skill points to go along with their weapon damage. The following players now have 6 skill points to spend on skills:
- Yvanna Eros
- The Count
- Aeloshir Goldmane
- Dorian Salttail

As you all remember, there are a few skill trees in the game: Empathy, Crafting, Lore, Trading, Fitness, Focus, and Combat.
First you'll need to spend a skill point to unlock a tree, then put a skill point into one of the branches to be able to use the skill.

Empathy: This skill tree allows your character to have the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. It's a measure a character's force of personality, persuasiveness, ability to lead, and physical attractiveness. A successful check will prompt NPCs to reveal additional information or to give bonus rewards in a conversation.

• Paragon - The character can use this skill to get someone to do something or to believe in something, through reason and kindness.
• Renegade - The character can use this skill to get people to back down or threaten them for information they want. Renegade can also be used to provoke an enemy into dropping their guard for a short time.
• Con Artist - The character can make the outrageous or the untrue seem plausible. This skill encompasses acting, conning, fast talking, misdirection and misleading body language.
• Shaman - The character can use this skill to get an animal or spirit to do something or to believe in something, through sensing and/or understanding their emotions and vice versa. They can also use this skill to charm or dominate certain creatures.

Crafting: This skill tree allows your character to have the ability to create, improve, repair or disassemble weapons, armor and machinery.

• Blacksmith - The character using this skill knows how to create most types of armor, shields, martial weapons, and helmets from different materials. They can also improve, repair or disassemble these items.
• Engineer - The character using this skill can combine raw components to form various traps, pistols, rifles, machinery and torches. They can also improve, repair or disassemble these items.
• Enchanter - The character using this skill is a master of crafting magical weapons such as foci, scepters and staves. They also have the ability to infuse magic into normal items or draw existing magic out of a magical item.

Lore: This skill tree allows your character to have the ability to be a walking library.

• Sage - The skill to accurately identify unknown spells and enchantments on magical items. The Sage skill also represents the ability to analyze information.
• Entertainer - The skill to conjure up stories and legends about mythical heroes and important people, places or things from your imagination or books you’ve previously read.
• Alchemist - The skill to spot useful ingredients in the wild and brew them into healing potions or harmful poisons.
• Prodigy - The skill to operate a magical or mechanical item as if your character had the required training or understanding.

Trading: This skill tree allows your character to more effectively barter for goods and information.

• Merchant - The character using this skill can haggle for better prices when buying or selling goods. If the merchant wins, the character pays more for the goods in the store. If the character wins, he pays less.
• Smuggler - The character using this skill can tap into an information network for the purposes of gathering information.

Fitness: This skill tree allows your character to have more endurance and stamina.

• Duelist - This skill represents agility, reflexes, and balance.
• Brawler - The skill represents the muscles and physical power of a character.

Focus: This skill tree allows your character to have the ability to calmly and logically think things through, as well as heightening your senses.

• Keen Eyes - The character with this skill can see in the dark, track prey, and notice hidden things such as traps and secret doors.
• Investigative Mind - Investigative Mind describes a character's willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition. It also increases your resistance to mental attacks.
• Eagle Ears - The character with this skill can hear conversations in a crowded area or over greater distances than normal. This skill will also alert the character to hidden creatures that may be nearby.
• Shadow - Shadow describes a character's ability to hide from enemies and sneak quietly past guards.
• Burglar - The character with this skill can open locks which will allow them to enter locked rooms and open locked containers. This skill will also allow them to remove items from another's backpack or pockets.

Combat: This skill tree improves your character’s ability to deal damage.

• Fighter - This skill improves your damage with melee weapons.
• Marksman - This skill improves your damage with ranged weapons.
• Spellslinger - This skill improves your damage with magical weapons.
• Defender - This skill improves your ability to block with weapons and shields.
• Opportunist - This skill improves your ability to counterattack with weapons.

Since you're all still lvl 1:
- a skill can not be raised passed +3 at this point and...
- you can not unlock more than 4 different skills. Bonus skills from your passive aren't counted in this rule.

When you're in a fight scene, I want you to add this next bit of information to your posts so I can track who is doing what, and how:

Fate Points: 3
Refresh Rating: 3 (At this point, you guys have to option to purchase more stunts if you like, by spending RR.)

Profession: Your character's class and their armor grade (heavy, medium or light armor).
Aspects: Five phrases picked from your character's biography that you can spend fate points on in the game for a small bonus.

Weapons and Armor: Starter gear.
Extras: Anything that’s technically part of your character (or controlled by your character) but gets special treatment in the rules.

Skills: Your character’s basic capabilities, picked from the Skill List.
Stunts: Special moves that your character can use.

Stress: All characters start the game with two stress levels:
- one mild physical stress and...
- one mild mental stress

Mild stress can be used to absorb one point of either physical or mental damage. You can only gain levels in stress after that if you have points in the Brawler skill (physical stress) and the Investigative Mind skill (mental stress). One skill point in either of these will unlock a moderate stress level (which will absorb 2 points of damage, depending on the type). Three points will unlock a severe stress level (which will absorb 3 points of damage).

I hope that clears up the confusion.

Injury: All characters start the game with three injury slots (mild, moderate and severe). These can be used to absorb either mental or physical damage (mild =2, moderate = 4, severe = 6). The third post in the OOC explains the difference between stress and injuries and how the should be used. I recommend rereading it again so you guys don't accidentally get yourselves killed.

You can unlock additional injury slots with either your Brawler skill or your Investigative Mind skill, starting at +5. These bonus slots are reserved for physical and mental damage respectively.

@X/Rogue/He: Nope. You guys can jump into the portal and then choose where you want to go from there. You don't have to stick together and you can choose to appear earlier in the story's timeline if you like.

Really? Sweeeet.
