It's interesting to see a few idiots who can't read, crawl out of the woodwork at the last moments.

Also, betrayal?

There are people who believe the world exists for their benefit, so when it doesn't do what they want it to, they believe they've been betrayed.

2. Move this site off of America soil
3. Stop giving a fuck about DMCA by moving this server from time to time.
4. Stop removing borderline hentai and keeping fujoshit shit
5. stop being a pansy group of shit heads that can't realize If you do everything everyone wants no one ends up with what they want.
6.4chan says HI

Kids don't know anything but think they know everything, think their opinion is always the opinion of the majority, and all while repeating the stupidest things they heard. This is the real reason why adults want to restrict internet access to them.

#1360077 why a 5 point score is useless

It has become quite clear that DaveD thinks only what he agrees with is objectively correct and nothing will convince him otherwise:

Everyone who doesn't think <70% = bad doesn't know what proper ratings are.

A five point scale of "Very good, Good, Okay, Bad, Very bad" is no good, there needs to be a bunch of divisions between them, with a whole bunch more between the "Okay, Bad, and Very bad" than there are between "Very good, Good, and Okay".

You are still showing that you think 70-80 means the same thing to everyone.  I'm saying 70-80 might not mean that to other people.  Other people might not think "70-80 means there are a lot of barriers to overcome and that you should use secondary and tertiary information if you want to pick it up. It's data that you cross reference with other data.  If its in the 70-80 range, then you need to look hard at the series to decide if its worth trying."  They might think 70-80 is just fine and worth looking at, and only if it's something 50-60 that one needs to "research".

It looks like it's you who is too stuck in your own belief that you can't understand what my point is.  Tell me if you still don't get it and I'll try to spell it out for you.

More like

point score is useless

This here. People can't agree on what is good, and can't agree on how to rate what is good.  On a percent scale, some people treat 50% as the cutoff for "good", others 60%, and others 70% or even higher, and will rate things accordingly, so how can we get any use from that?  Also for scales with smaller incruments, there's no practical difference between something like 64% and 65%, let alone 64.0% and 64.1%.

If a rating system is absolutely necessary, I'd say something along the lines of "Like, Okay, Dislike" would be best.  Or if you must, "Inject it into my veins!, Like, Okay, Dislike, Drown in the abyss!", which is kind of like what Batoto already uses, but people don't treat it that way because of numbers.
