I fucking hate Taiko Drum Master. Y'all don't even know. Every time I think about this game I just rage so hard .



So 2-3 years ago, people were moving outta their dorms cause the spring semester was over, and the university had this facebook group up for students to sell the shit they didn't want anymore. So this one dude put a bunch of games up for sale, and the one thing that caught my eye was that he had a bundle of 2 Taiko Drum Master games (the english and the japanese version) and two drums for only $15. So I jumped on that shit and PM'd him. We met up at the student stores and this dude was a fucking weirdo. Like on his facebook profile he looked relatively normal, but when we met up he was wearing like an army green trench coat in the beginning of May (when it was hella hot outside). He also looked nasty AF, like he didn't shower on the daily out of sheer laziness. I'm 300% sure he's the kind of dude that would've ordered the fish filet and the Reuben sandwich, but I bought the game off him anyway.

So I took that shit home and I was sooooo psyched. Y'all don't even understand the anticipation that coursed through my veins. My body was 300% ready for this goddamn game. I unboxed one of the controllers and I was like . It looked brand spanking new.

Then I fucking unboxed the other controller and two cockroaches popped out. I killed the shorter one, but the longer one escaped and I flipped the fuck out. If y'all know anything about sexual dimorphism, the longer one was the fucking female (meaning there was a chance it was carrying eggs). I looked inside the box and there was roach shit everywhere. God knows how long those two roaches were in that box just buttfucking

The very first thing I did, after looking under all the couches and shit, was to get on 420chan and ask /howto/ how to catch just ONE roach. The thread was like a huge shit storm; everyone was coming at me like "OP IS A HUGE FGT. It's just one roach, it'll die on it's own." So all I could do was pray that the roach on the loose wasn't carrying eggs after all that buttfucking

After a week of playing as much taiko drum master as possible, I started noticing this roach that was always crawling around in the living room while I was playing. I'd always try to get it but it was always too fast. I figured it was just that one roach on the loose. But then one time I came down to the living room to play at night, and when I flipped on the lights there were like 5 different ones tryna scurry back under the couches . Then every day I found more and more. It got to the point where I'd try to microwave something and a roach would scurry out while the microwave was on and crawl all over the food.

 

I fucking wanted to die. My parents wanted me to die. I went back to that /howto/ thread like 3 weeks after I had started it and I wrote "FUCK YOU GUYS, THERE ARE ROACHES EVERYWHERE " and everyone went apeshit like "WTF NO WAY/OP IS LYING " before they actually started giving real advice. Then after a month or two of putting out the traps /howto/ had suggested, the infestation died down and my house was roach free.

Fuck you taiko drum master, and fuck the dirty gae that sold that shit to me.
