Lets branch out a bit, shall we?

08 March 2015 - 12:04 AM

So as the title says, it's time to spread my wings and fly the beautiful world of manga.  I've been an avid manga reader for a fairly long time now and while I let to think I'm pretty well read I know I'm really not  .

What I want from all you wonderful people is to just tell me your absolute favorite manga, just a few (sorry but I don't want to be bombarded with lists 50+ titles strong.)

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE GENRE!!!!!

We're branching out, remember?  So just pick those absolute favorite of yours and put 'em below and I'll find out if I'm as well read as I think I am

Alright batoto lets see watcha got!

Forgot the title, need help (it was a shoujo romance)

Ok so the basic premise:

There are these two high school boys who are best friends. One is extremely popular with the girls but doesn't seem to have any interest in them(I think it was something about not wanting to date girls who made fun of his friend.) The main character is his friend who's this really huge/hulking gorilla looking guy who looks scary but is actually really nice. The big hulking guy ends up saving some girl and she makes him sweets as thanks.  At first the huge guy thinks the girl has a crush on his best friend (the good looking guy) when she actually likes the big guy himself. Some confusion and slight drama ensues then he realizes she likes him and they go out. The story continues after that with other random arcs and stuff but I think this is enough to go by.

Also as a side note the older sister of the good looking boy has a crush on the gorilla dude (just additional info in case it helps)

Thanks!!!

Help finding some new stuff to read

Hey guys, just creating a quick topic to see if anybody can help me out. I've been looking for some good slice-of-life manga to read,  manga that kind depicts everyday life in a fun and quirky way like Yotsubato!, Flying Witch, and Horimiya (romance is good but optional). I've read a fair amount and don't really feel like listing them right now so go ahead and post anything you can think of and I'll sift through it later.

Much appreciated!!!
