You know what. I'm going to add the end of episode 14 of Sword Art Online. MC been through hell and back in a Die Hard-movie way. Thinking that the worst is gonna happen in the end until... BAM!

With only one thing left on his mind, he painfully walks into the sunset--like a true motherfucking bad ass.

Edit: I didn't spoil nothing. So don't give me that shit. So, go watch that scene of episode 14, so that you can understand what I mean.

Oh man no kidding right? That ending scene was amazing I still get the chills thinking about it.

I also subjected myself to Angel Beats for the first time these last few days...

The ending... No. The whole series, I haven't gotten 'teary' in a long time but the pure emotion in that series almost got me crying.

The ending of Code Geass, it's so freakin sad and beautiful. It leaves me with a torrent of emotions.. Probably one of the best if not the best ending of any anime.

Aye! Clannad: After Story was just sooo damn sad man, I have to say, its brilliant but just toys with your emotions. Especially the ending..

Where Nagisa dies, Tomoya has his soul ripped out and was so destroyed by what happened to Nagisa that he gives Ukio to Sanae and Aki. Then the whole thing of him trying to get along with his daughter but has a rough time on it and just when it seems things are looking up and starts acting like a father and caring for Ukio she gets sick and dies. But the topper was when they basically had it as a dream as he came to near the end and she and the baby are healthy and alive.

It was just too much! Still one of the best animes from start to finish, there were no bad episodes or anything.

And like Akumetsu said, Code Geass was a tear jerker,

like in the 2nd season where sherrie was killed and then later when LeLouch goes through with his brilliant plan to turn the worlds hatred onto him so with his death he can literally build a new world for nonally and then when he had suzaku kill him and when his sister and the others found out the truth about his plan. But the thing that got me was that just when LeLouch and C2 essentially began falling in love!

and an amazing ending that really makes you wonder...

Like how they don't show the driver of the trucks face as C2 was talking, which was hinting that Lelouch might've survived and that he could've been the driver or something

Second spoiler tag, please no. I am highly against that, and here is why. It kills the sacrifice. Many, many movies and shows were ruined with two episode final speech after being reduced to a puddle of flesh (talking about you, Elfen Lied!), or miracle survivals like the new Batman Movie. Just... god damn it, you build up the moment, the character you loved so much is now dead, died a wonderful death anyone could wish for themselfs, you make the viewer feel sad for a FICTIONAL character to the point of crying, and then BOOM! Nope, he's alive, all is good, we didn't sacrifice any named characters, all is well... I call bull on that.

As for my tear-jerker...

Scene before Lelouch dies. That short scene where they are showing Rivals and what remains of the student's council.
It reminds you of what used to be, and what tragic path they walked.
Lelouch became a demon.
Nunally is there to be humiliated.
Karren in to be executed.
Shirley is dead (that one strikes me the most, her absence from the last scenes of the anime)
Rolo is dead.
Nina is in hiding...
You saw so many scenes where they are all together and happy, and in the last scenes, you only see 2 of them together, and for those you don't see you know they're dead.
I just... can't find the words to describe that scene and what I feel when I see it. In many animes, they just can't do that, no matter how hard they try to make you remember and feel sad for the characters. Code Geass, with that scene acomplished it perfectly and so vividly.

Another one would be the scene where Ace dies. After seeing the flashbacks with Whitebeard, Luffy & garp. And Ace wondering if it was a good thing that he was alive! It came together so splendidly!

Their plan to remain in purgatory or heaven (where ever the heck they were lol) changes direction and instead they resolve their problems, dreams, and ambitions and move on. In a really freakin' emotional way, they help each other pass on until only the mainliest of main characters are left. Then shit gets serious.
