Personally, if I was to date a monster girl, I'd prefer something around my size. Not some gigantic monster that's larger than me and could very likely devour me (such as a Lamia)

I'd rather date a fox girl or something. The more human looking the better. The small extra traits wouldn't bother me or be too bad. But a huge tail that can squeeze me to death (even if by accident) or feathers? No. Feathers are just not attractive to me. And slime girls would be too strange for me unless they could somehow solidify more. Mollusk and other fish like girls aren't really appealing to me, either.

Mermaids? The scales might be a bit of an issue. Imagine cuddling and suddenly the scales pinch your skin. Not very pleasant.

Really, fox girls and dragon girls might be best. But only if you can get the dragon girl into civilian clothing.

Oh really? I'm pretty sure many snakes can eat prey much larger than their own body. I imagine that despite their nice, beautiful exterior, they could easily dislocate their seemingly human jaw to swallow you whole. Heck, it even happens in Monster Girl Quest.
Also, they might squeeze you to death while snuggling. Just look at this example here.

lol. You can have your Lamias. I don't mind. I simply wouldn't want such a fate. Although, I wonder, do the lamia you love have cold or warm blood? Also, how would that contribute to any problems / benefits?

I was asking your personal preference. Seeing as some people prefer to imagine Lamias as cold blooded while others want to think they're warm blooded. I was wondering what your stance on it was, and if the blood type would have any effect on the relationship. Such as having to adapt to special climate conditions or in the event of child birth, if the warm / cold blood mix could possibly make things complicated.
Various things like that. This topic is about dating monster girls, after all.
