one day we will have a social hierarchy based on how many robots you can bequeath to your descendants - whether they are Apple ® or Android R) brands, what OS to come with, etc. etc.

I am hoping, somewhat desperately, that once we have an overt sufficiency of robot production, we realize that sincere socialism is easy now and we can reorganize and all relax somewhat... >_>
As no doubt I've mentioned before.

Then I tried hard to remember my phone numbers and it was just incredibly hard, and each time it seemed to narrow down to aru. Woke up. I’ve found my calling.

it could go the other way, we could be working harder than ever doing bs shots, like the hierarchy would be who can make robot smarter / stronger
like everyone in facebook and google has to learn AI, seems like everybody thinks that's going to be the next industrial revolution

That all people can think about is how to have a bigger piece of that pie in the meantime is, well, very typically capitalist, and that's the way it's going to be as long as capitalism is our predominant resource-and-effort allocation model.
TBH I don't think it's a huge problem in the near-term, but it'll probably be awkward later on when these companies are like "but we invested all this money in AI and robots because we wanted to own them all," and the rest of us are like, "yeah but people don't have jobs anymore so you're going to have to fork over most of that wealth those robots produced in some way or another, or we're all going to starve cyberpunk style?"
But who knows. I am no prophet. uvu

You found your calling? I thought you said you couldn't remember the number? ~w~
Sorry I think I'm funny though I know I'm tired enough that I'm very probably wrong about that. x.x;

-1 i will count for you just once
I dreamt today about sh*t, literally. I dug up the backyard and I have large plastic pvc pipes feeding the feces of my neighbors into my garden, and I was observing the deluge of sh*t pouring into the dirt from each of my surrounding neighbors. I guess I was experimenting with fermentation? natural fertilizer? Apparently it overflowed ...
Wow what an ecological disaster...

IIRC person-shit makes problematic fertilizer because A.) it's full of human microbes which would get on to the food problematically in some cases, and B.) we eat things with really weird ingredients (not just artificial flavouring and preservatives and the like, but also our various medications and so forth) that you wouldn't want plants to take up.
Though if not for the weird-shit problem I think there might be a correct way to compost it into normal dirt (not necessarily for use in agriculture, just as waste management). Also you'd have to not use mixed sewer systems or toilet paper—though that would doable with more pipes and switching to bidets, I guess, in theory.

1 have you had any text to speech software that you would tried in the best and could recommend? I downloaded Balabolka (freeware) and it got Microsoft David which sounded non-human.
Downloaded another freemium one called NaturalReader, and their free voices featured, guess who, David once again. Come on Microsoft... you'd expect with all the advances in technology they couldve made something sound better than the xp days.

2 it's now clear that unlike the financial crisis of 2008 which wiped out the wealths of a lot of the rich as well as poor, the coronavirus of 2020 disapportionately affects the poor

Yup, it's a shit-show. Of course, the rich won't be protected if the entire economy collapses, which is still in the cards. Not that that helps any...

6 Dances with the Dragons is a pretty decent anime, got dragons so it should be somebody's thing

Good show! I fully encourage everyone to experience the not-depressing first half of it! (Well, I say that, I know Bandboy Roadtrip XV is not everyone's speed. u.u)

Dragons are definitely my thing >w<
But that doesn't mean I like just anything and everything with dragons in. If the dragons don't get the love and respect I arbitrarily feel that they deserve, I might even get upset. u_u (I haven't tried the anime in question)
