A Beautiful Life

 

Caressing your face as you lay asleep
I can't believe someone so beautiful
Could be with me
Suffer with me, Love with me
with you by my side I could live through anything
That's why I gave my soul to you
With the ring I pushed onto your finger
As you did mine
I can't tell you how much I love you
How much you mean to me
With you in it the world is so much more beautiful
So as you lay asleep in our bed
I thank god, fate, or whatever for bringing you into my life
With you I can live a beautiful life
With an Angel on the way and you as my loyal wife
I think it will be a beautiful life
So sleep for now I'll kiss you once you awake
for the rest of my life
I'll always love you my beautiful wife
Let us live a beautiful life

(A better) Tomorrow

 

I feel like I'm losing my head
Am I better off dead?
Instead of hanging onto the edge
Should I just fall like theres no tomorrow
When I've spent my life looking for a better tomorrow
Yet all I have in return is this deep sorrow
That's carved me hollow?
trying my best not to fall away
it's hard when your soul is fading away
and your path is being washed away
I always think how should I live today?
When I'm always looking for tomorrow?

Pain Over Nothing

 

Hit me please!
I'm not masochistic
I'm quite the opposite
I just want to know If I can still feel
I want to know if I'm still real
Can't you see I'm nothing
Bite Me
Leave a mark over my heart
Maybe that will give it a spark
I don't care if I get a scar
I don't want to feel nothing
Pain is better than nothing

It scares me that I have nothing to lose

Masks

 

I hide behind many masks
Which is no easy task
I often step off my path
Since I'm losing sight
Of what's wrong and what's right
Everything's turning grey
Yet this smile stays the same
Even when I cry
Even when I'm angry
Even when I'm sad
This plastic smile never leaves me
It acts as a mask for others
So I don't hurt them with my misery
I'll take all the pain
Eventually it will kill me
Which makes everything I've done in vain
When I break down in a final bow
they'll be the ones in pain
As they bury me with the mask covering the shame
Of me....

 

 

Secret

 

I can't let you in
I'm so afraid to get hurt again
I'm so ackward with my friends
I don't know what to say
Or how to act
So sometimes I might snap
And might gave a harsh tone
I have two personalities
Introverted outside in the real world
Extroverted inside the safety net
I have a secret
I'm not as strong as you believe
MY strength is leaving me
I'm losing my faith in myself
Starting to no longer believe in anything
MY secret is mine alone
My secret....is all I have left

Direction

 

So lost wandering these hollow streets
Without faith Without anything to believe in
Am I Souless? Am I Suicidal?
Is that why I don't cry anymore?
I could use some help
Do you have a map?
So I can find my way home
Or could you just point me in the right way
maybe you can walk with me so I don't lose my way
maybe that will keep all my demons at bay
You don't have to
But I could really use some help
I'm so bad with direction
I just might go south
When I'm heading north
I know I'm a stranger
You don't owe me anything
Though I would give you the world
if you could get me into the right direction

I write everyday, i try to write at least 4 poems per session. I have a lot more to post but I usally just post 2 at time on this site.

Let's go somewhere far away
This world is bigger than we know
We don't need anything let's just go
Just grab my hand
and let's start that journey
Forget everything
We'll never come back here
I'll never leave you
I promise to always protect you
and hold you dear

If you fight mine
I'll be strong for you
If you do the same
Come on today is the start of something new
We only have each other to lose
Nothing else in this world matters
Except us two
Love will show us the way
It won't be easy
But I want to take this path with you

Thank you very much no one has ever told me that, it made it smile.

My poems A Beautiful Life & Somewhere far away are happy poems.

 

I would like to write more happy poems but I can't remember what being happy is. And when I write a happy poem I don't like them except for A Beautiful Life when I wrote that poem I thought it was very beautiful. Anyway I'll watch some romance movies to get some inspiration for some happy poems

I have read several of your poems, Zero that are more than just hate! There have been several that I have loved that are happy ones, so don't say that they aren't good!

Well, if you think about it, George, for most people, their poems are based on feelings that they have felt in their lives, so, when someone who hasn't had many "happy" ones, how can you expect the to truly be able to write about it?

 

I'm not saying that he can't, but you must also look at it from his point of view. If you can truly understand why he writes the poems that he does, then you will be a step closer to knowing why he doesn't write many "happy" poems.
