why isn't anime as good as it was 5 years ago
Is that nostalgia speaking?
why isn't manga sold at borders anymore
Does Borders sell ANYTHING anymore?
why is our hobby so dated and out of touch with the new generation
It's all cyclical.
pop music probably did it fuck you lady gaga
Ok, fair point, but is she any worse than Debbie Gibson or Milli Vanilli?

I'm still using a dumb phone because I need that slide-out keyboard to text. I'm a texting fiend. I only call people when I'm angry or when it's urgent.
@topic: I think manga is still popular for the kids in the new generation. Like my friend's 12 year old sister's summer reading list (recommended by her school) has graphic novels included on the list now. I think Death Note was one of the recommended novels. Back in my day, my teacher didn't even know what a graphic novel was.

Oh so you only started using your phone after I posted that 1-800-SINGLE hotline? Nah I'm just playin

You shouldn't keep your battery discharged. Charge it and take out instead.I don't even have a phone.

@Topic: People growing up and seeing more of the same things are partially at fault too. Why isn't anime from 5 years ago as good as it was 10 years ago?
I don't think they ever sold manga @ my borders.
I'd say younger generations are closer to anime than older ones.
Are they even listening to gaga in Japan?

But she might lose her battery then.

If someone can't keep it from getting lost, they can always tape it to the phone after taking it out.But she might lose her battery then.
@topic: Many hobbies are 'out of touch' with any generation.
