Gonna read the books first before watching the TV series. Although it can help doing the opposite, so I can easly visualize all the characters.

wow leo, so you're really hooked on it!

And i think you should watch it first before moving on with the books, with so many characters it gives you better visuals and easier to remember if you watch the show first.

And not all Lannister must die, Tyrion and Jaime must live. Cersei and Joff should die. And guys, remember, one does not simply google your favorite GoT character, you'll just see spoilers of how they'll die.

It takes them a while to film those 10 episodes. And since they will be doing book 3 and some of book 4 for next season might start May instead of April.

tried reading the books ages and ages ago, I think I was about 16, but I could not get into them, watched the series and suddenly I could read them... currently on book three!

My favourite characters are Daenarys, the Imp, Arya, and the wolves!! I want a timber wolf... or a dragon... nope def. a dragon! yay!

that's too bad, while the series is quite accurate to the books there is a lot of detail in the books that you don't get in the series... especially the second season!!

@Mystika, are the books that much different? I already have the full set (someone gifted it to me) but I find it so difficult to even get past the first few chapters of the first book...

on a semi-related note, how did everyone get into Game of Thrones? and did you get anyone else into it?
