In fact i am surprised there is no thread about this series even there are many followers around.
It is a lame that i am starting this thread.

Anyways. Skydreamer suggested me to watch this series and I'm downloading it now.
Yet i takes time. I'll catch up with others soon i hope.

I'm a fan of the TV series and have read until book 4 so far, I have no intention yet of buying the fifth book Dance with the Dragons coz I don't want my joy to end shortly.

Favorite characters: Tyrion, Arya, Davos, Ned Stark and Jon Snow.

I tried reading the book first, but I had a lot of trouble getting into it. I couldn't tolerate how quickly it skipped between characters without even giving me enough time to remember their names.Then I was coerced into watching the show and I'm happy with that. I could probably read the books fine now that I can visualize faces, but I think I'll just stick with the show so I don't spoil things for myself. It's also the only TV show I've followed in eons, so I sort of don't want a reason to stop watching it >.>

As for the latest episode (s02e09), I really hoped that they would lose the castle. I cant stand that kid "king" anymore, and everyone can probably agree.
Though I kinda felt sory for the half-man, he was really cool *A*. But well, it was kinda impossible for them to lose, since that way we would lose lot of the antagonist(s).

WTF joffrey will die, but not in this season. Oh, they will all die, in book 7 i guess, george rr martin will kill all the characters in a war. the author loves to kill all of them.

Who's the hell Loras Tyrell?

Ser Loras Tyrell is the knight of flowers, he gave Sansa a rose in a tourney where he fought the hound. And he is the very special friend of Renly. They have sweet moments.

Love the series, haven't read any of the books. My favorite character is definitely Tyrion Lannister aka The Imp! I hope his face remains together!

Sunday's episode was f***ing crazy. Any episode where the Hound cuts people in half is good. I love Tyrion, next to Jon Snow, my favorite character in the series. "There are brave men knocking at our door-let's go kill them," loved that line. One more episode left this season, wished it would come later this year but I know it ain't happening.

I watched all of the episodes by now. I got Sansa from the test. However she doesn't fit me since i am a boy.
So i choose the closest character for my personality. He is "Jon Snow". Now it looks like I am really a bastard xD
and I am going to be prisoner for awhile it seems.

Series are great. Actually made me wonder how are the books.
Cause Books always have more details than movies and series.
And i really want to learn/see more details.

My favorite characters for now are : Starks, Especially Robb, Jon and Arya
And i want them to take their revange from Lannisters
