But little did they know that they were not alone
Remember the moustached traitor?
Whose fate was left unknown?
Well he had drifted to the island
By pure luck and chance
And when he saw his former crew,
He couldn't help but do a happy dance.

"Could this be it? Is this finally my chance?"
The man hid nearby, and planned in advance
"My revenge, oh, it will be swift and sweet,
I'll crush these worthless roaches under my feet."

having already killed the captain,
he thought, "i'll kill the first mate, then."
he set up an ambush for his prey,
but wound up waiting for several days.

where he slowly started to dry...

until he thought he died...

But the moustached villain was not dead
With no food or water, he had to rest his head
He fell into a deep sleep and started to dream
Until he was awoken with a shock and awoke with a scream

for he had slept, you see,
nestled at the base of a large tree.
only it wasn't a tree planted in the floor,
it turned out to be a shrieking dinosaur!

"W-What's this?!" yelled the man with a scream,
"Am I awake? Or am I still in a dream?!"
He quickly ran away, scared straight to the bones
Out of sheer panic, he started throwing stones.

The dinosaur stared, bewildered and confused,
Nay, you could almost say that it was amused
"Be at ease," the dino spoke , to the man's surprise,
"I mean you no harm, nor do I plan a reprise."

"Y-You can speak?" the man softly replied,
His legs tremble with fear, his eyes open wide,
"Hmph," the dino exhaled, its face wore a frown,
"Truly the arrogance of man knows no bound."

"I am a guardian of this place." the dino continued
"But you are a giant lizard!" the villain argued
"Listen to me," the dino shouted with a roar
"Or do you not wish to live anymore?"

The villain remained silent in fear for his life
The villain did not wish to cause the predator anymore strife
"Now heed my word and listen carefully," the dino started to speak.
But before he could continue, they both heard a frightening shriek

"A damsel in distress?" the villain exclaimed,
thankful for, finally, a chance to escape.
He rushed off towards the noise,
trembling in fear, but somehow keeping a semblance of poise.

The shriek's direction seemed to have came from the bay,
He finally reached there and found, much to his dismay
The shriek's frightened source was nowhere to be found,
The only thing he found was a sword on the ground

"A tool for defense," he thought, as he walked up to the sword,
Unaware of the previous owner - a nefarious overlord.
He reached out, intending to pick it up,
But from somewhere behind him, a voice yelled, "STOP!"

"That sword is cursed!", the voice resumed,
"Should you pick it up, your fate is doomed!"
Upon hearing the that, the villain jumped in panic,
He also felt its presence, a presence so satanic,

"Who are you?", asked the villain, "You're not part of the crew.
And are you a friend, or are you a foe?"
"I am neither." the mysterious voice said with a smirk,
It did not show its source and continued to lurk

Slowly turning in circles, the villain peered,
frantically trying to quell his rising fear.
"Why are you here?" the villain implored,
hoping the voice would tell him more.

But the voice kept silent
As the villain continued to ask
And it seemed it meant
Not asking was the task

thus rumors spread the crew grew suspicious
so he framed another of his crimes and was executed thus
his plan continued.

In the endless black, his foe lay slain

and surrounded his air with gloom
