So I've been watching this series and am up to date. Felt like discussing it with others, and so am curious if anyone else watches it.

yes i watch it and i love it and omg i will stay here consumed with misery/depression/lust until the 3rd season airs.

the ending though, wow. WOW, JUST. and Moriarty, can anyone be any more awesome the way he was dancing around while breaking that glass case? XD

Ima just say. I started episode 1 today. I didn't think I'd like it but it was good. So I probably won't be back till I get caught up with the series. Or is it over? I skimmed Katzen's post trying hard not to read it all just incase of spoilers :/

i didn't say anything important, sorry though :<

it's 3 episodes per season, and the second season just ended. my life is now on a downward spiral (until it comes back -__- )

i'm also pretty excited that Benny's gonna be on the new Star Trek as a villain >_<

I haven't watched it. well, as long as it is enjoyable as the book (classic novel) I'll be hook at it easily

I really hated the ending for the second season. It's gonna be quite difficult to explain/rationalize it all for the 3rd season.

And some ranting about the series, and ponderings. There are spoilers in the rant so beware.

Also, while watching the show, I felt that Irene Adler was more of Sherlock's equal than Moriarty was. Though, it is understood that Moriarty is just as genius as Sherlock which does not need much of explanation, I wish there was more of a back and forth battle of wits than how the second season ended. Moriarty also seemed that he wasn't as clever, but more powerful, and that is how he accomplished his feats.
Don't misunderstand, I enjoy the series, love the characters, even accept the sociopathic eccentricities of Moriarty, I just wish there was more of a struggle/conflict between Moriarty and Sherlock.
On another note, anyone else feel like Watson seems like a static character? He doesn't seem to be used to his full potential. Granted he is not as bright and quick-witted as Sherlock, however, other than a muse he doesn't seem to have much of an impact on the series. Is that how he is characterized in the novels, and how is the relationship between Sherlock and Watson truly?

All i have to say is that mycroft is such an arsehole what happened to brotherly love t.t and that i both loved and hated the ending >_< I just kinda expected it to be more twisted than that x.x

How to put it... I really really wanted for Jim to be "madder" so to speak. I mean, what he did screamed madness, I just wanted it to be more geniusish i guess :/ /is still dealing with heartbrokenness over no moar eps ;-;

Yes, john is portrayed as an idiot by acd t.t but he isnt all that dumb in the tv show, i mean he figured it out about mycroft after all tt.tt

I wasnt expecting steven thompson as reichenbachs writer tho .-. Hes a good writer and all but he just doesnt stand up to moffat and gatiss in trolling n.n
