Again, Tao showing us why he's the best comic relief character.
"Yo, gramps! Over here!"
<the sound of crickets goes here... as does that of Dignity crying softly in the corner>

Wow, that was a seemingly odd turn things took there at the end O_o
His time has passed, R.I.P Cadis Etrama Di Raizel.
Something I noticed earlier... She said "A noblesse" not "the noblesse".
Is this EGS' fault or did the author just drop a huge bomb on us? We've always assumed he's been the Noblesse since the beginning.
Does this mean.... THE BEGINNING OF HAN SHINWOO THE NOBLESSE?!?!
Kidding of course, but it makes you wonder.

I suppose I'd bank on it being just an inconsistency in the translation, though I could be wrong. I honestly think if you looked back you'd see a number of other ways that it was established that he was The Noblesse, not "a" noblesse.
And yeah, R.I.P. from the looks of it, someone challenging a person on their deathbed to a duel doesn't seem quite right, does it?

Well she could of finished her soul weapon (or not ). It's possible she may give him "raw" or "pure" vital force from her soul weapon which would weakened it.
Remember, since he does not share his blood, he can't wield the blade. But nothing was said about taking the energy of the weapon and giving it to somebody. She might of crafted something up.
Or she's just going to kill him... because he rejected her all those years ago or something like that. You can clearly see she's top tier tsundere material.
That look Gejutel had when they asked him why The Lord was here is important. Clearly she's going to do something drastic. Whatever the case it's Rai's or her loss, it's something that will cause harm to one or the other or he wouldn't be making that concerned face.

Oh, please. It's obvious she's just out to show him she's up to the job. It's a case of, "Stop doing everything yourself and delegate some of it to me, dumbass!".

Yeppers, someone from EGS commented on my comment and it's fixed on their reader.

She has a big inferiority complex when it comes to him. Think about it, for so long she believed her Father just did not think she was worthy but Rai was.

Haha! Yeah, I was just kidding more than anything, I'm sure that little scene there at the end was more for the readers benefit than anything, a dramatic, "what's going to happen next!? Tune in next week for the next thrilling chapter of *Noblesse!!*" kind of thing

Assuming she's there to help Rai. What do you guys think she could do? o.O

You know, I think that's one good possibility. I for one haven't been shy in saying that the "one step away from death" rhetoric that's circled around Rai for, well, for the entire length of the story, was getting a little tired after 300+ chapters. I mean, you just can't have "Stay back!! He could drop dead at any moment!!" being shouted to the heavens over and over and over without it losing its sincerity (read as "failure in Suspension Of Disbelief").
So yeah, personally I'd think her having some ace up her sleeve (deus ex machina) that gave him juuuust enough life to (maybe!) get him through the war...........yeah, good, I'll buy into that and be glad for it too.

Can't wait for today's chapter!
Raws are out, as expected it was something like that.
I wonder what Rai said, The Lord was surprised at the end.

Ahhh, so it was some way to attempt to give him some more umph to finish the (story, maybe) war with. Cool, we'll see how that goes for him

Wow, that was so worth it to show him get weakened for 200 chapters (or more) just to heal him in a second. Anyone else disappointed?
Well, I'm not disappointed necessarily, though I'll say I am still kind of reserving judgement on just exactly what we've got here. At least for now it seems like we're not quite sure if he's been "cured" or not, just exactly how extensive any fix might really be.........that sort of thing. Plus with this we've also got the added layer of how this action on the part of the Lord actually serves to potentially weaken their own power..........so yeah, I at least think this has potential to strengthen the story right now, I've been saying for a while that all this "he's on death's door" that's been said about Rai just couldn't continue to go on indefinitely.
For a moment there, I thought Frankie would summon the dark-spear instantly
Yeah you're right. He is a pretty hot tempered guy after all

That last line that Rai says," even if it were you best friend, or your father the previous lord." Is it possible that the previous Lord may have been used against Rai? Against his, like Muzaka, or perhaps unknowingly? It was such a strange line.

Yeah, you're right, it was a little odd. I've read through their whole little exchange a time or few now.....there were a number of things I found ambiguous on first reading frankly......and yeah, that particular line, could have just been his way of impressing upon her his conviction (comparing his decision to fight his close friend to her having to choose to fight her own father) or it might well have some deeper, underlying meaning.
No clue which for sure though right now, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything else is said in the next chapter. I'm personally still waiting to find out just whether what she did even worked or not. I mean we're (of course) being led to believe he's gonna be fixed up to some degree, but we really don't know that or any sort of limits to it the author might set up for us to deal with now.

I think it's @ Bold. Both of them have a strong duty towards humans as leaders of the Nobles. Although with the advancements humans have made in general I don't think this is something that will last very long in the future.
Well, now that he's got Ragnarok she can't become this immensely powerful being. She was already powerful to begin with ( hinted when Rai said that he was impressed because even her father wouldn't be able to command such a strong blood field with just half of Ragnarok ).
I wonder just how powerful she is? We know that they both fought with blood fields because of pride back then, but I wonder how she fights in a real battle. Does she fight fight like Rai, never really moving and just dishing out the pain?
Also... did she keep the other blade in her Father's tomb? Does that mean... right now she has no soul weapon? That would be very unwise...
I guess that could be why she had 2 elders including Gejutel escorting her.
The Union / Werewolves aren't ready though, they don't have the numbers. I'm sure we'll see some more stuff coming out of tubes in a few.
Lastly, I have to give credit to The Lord, thinking about possible 2nd and 3rd degree when it comes to Rai and the sword. She knows him well, although he's always been that sort of "funny" guy, we caught glimpse of his true intelligence in the flashbacks. He's not someone to meddle with. I guess his "funny guy" persona was something that he did to pass time. Sitting on that chair for so long must be awkward.
