Everyone gets a free skill every 25 levels, depending on their traits. I think traits, after the two you start with, are locked or require special circumstances to gain. Maybe. They might be locked period.

I believe you get one every 25 levels, but I would run that by Kiri before taking my word for it.

 

You will not be affected by it because having the skill counts as having a relevant defensive skill, otherwise the Hyenas would have rekt themselves.

I'm going to put an effort in to be more timely with my updates. I've been sick on and off for like two weeks, but I feel bad about being so slow and not delivering on time.

Yeah sorry about that. I've been slammed with school lately. I made the mistake of picking two throwaway classes that actually have a lot of work involved in them. I'll try to get something up for Sen tomorrow, but if I don't get to it then it will probably be done this weekend along with update stuff.

Sadly, it was an empty magic stone, which is why it was clear and see-through. Magic stones will usually look like whatever magic they possess. If it, or you whilst holding it, had been hit with a slice of magic at some point you would have captured said magic in the stone. You rolled decently so I gave you something with the potential to be awesome.

 

And you don't choose what you find, that would be the gateway drug that leads everyone to all kinds of overpowered mischief. But, much like Christmas presents, if you were to hint at what you wanted then it would make you more likely to get it. Though perhaps if you have a more thorough look around, and a better roll, you might find something you missed previously.
